I love this camera! It is lightweight, comfortable to hold and very easy to learn how to use. It comes with two lenses and I have gotten great pictures with both of them. I really like being able to change lenses depending on what I am taking pictures of. The pictures are so much more satisfying than the ones I was taking with my fixed-lens camera. It has modes you can switch to for whatever you are trying to take pictures of, one of those is Automatic where the camera pretty much does all the settings for you, all you need to do is point, focus and shoot. Or you can use the manual mode and get very creative.

Camera is definitely a great buy, takes amazing pictures and video, and it also has a lot of useful features.

Camera is wonderful. Very easy to use and takes good pictures. The lenses include are fantastic. Disappointed with Best Buy though. I was looking online and it said 3 free items were included. I was not given in store at time of purchase, when I went back to the store, they said it was only for online purchases. Not sure what is true though. I would recommend checking with store first before buying from best buy (if there website says "free item included")

We purchased the camera primarily to take photos of the kids during their sporting events, as our phones are horrible at this. This camera works great for action shots. I've had a chance to play with some of the other settings and have not taken a bad photo yet.

I bought this for my daughter and it has not disappointed. She has been using this non-stop and finds that it has all the features she would want. She has used the more expensive cameras for school but this one was perfect for the cost, durability and features.

I decided on my purchase after comparing features of several camera brands. I think the overall quality of pictures is excellent! This is a great camera for a beginner or someone who wants to go back to taking real pictures! Great features allow you to upload and post pictures instantly! You won't be unhappy if you choose this camera. Also love the red color!❤️ I can't wait to shoot professional photos on our oncoming vacation to Europe!

The quality of pictures is amazing. The camera is extremely user friendly. The snapbridge app makes uploading pictures to social media or family easy. Great value!!

So far this has been easy to use and figure out. This is my first purchase of this kind of camera. Love it. Battery life is good and pictures turn out great.

For newer photographers, I highly recommend the Nikon D3400.This is a well rounded camera that takes EXCELLENT shots. I'm beginning to expand a little more with my hobby in photography/videography with my CAMERA Good Starter Kit :) :) :)

The Nikon series of camera are great! The DSLR D3400 continues that tradition. The ability to take beautiful pictures, coupled with the simplicity to use makes this camera a great choice for a novice or experienced photographer. The numerous features makes it easy to share photos quickly on social media. I recommend this camera for people that are entering the world of photography for its ease to use and great price.

I would definitely recommend this camera to anyone looking to start picture hobby. This camera is very light and the battery lasts very long also. It was a bit difficult trying to connect it to my phone, but I eventually got it. Very neat feature for when you want to share a picture immediately on Facebook. I cannot say enough about the camera, The pictures are just to good.

Good camera for starters. Pricing was fair and the lenses take good pics. The camera is light and easy to use. One feature that takes getting used to is the retractable short lens. To be able to shoot right away you have to leave the lens extended which makes for a long lens.

This is a great camera. Very easy to use and takes great photos. The Snapbridge feature is an added bonus and makes transfer of photos instantly to your device a snap! Be sure to watch online reviews and videos, we had a hard time connecting it to the Iphone 7. Be sure to pick up a bag to carry the extra lens in and to store the camera. Plenty of features, more then a beginner can use effectively but we will have fun trying. The high Mega Pixel is a great reason to choose this camera over others, it does make a difference when enlarging and cropping photos.

I had this only for few weeks. but I can see the difference in pictures when compared to my other DSLR (Canon). Picture quality is good in Nikon. Needs some time and effort to understand and use features ... but thats ok with me.

I have been wanting a DSLR camera and shopped for awhile. When I saw this newer Nikon version with updated lenses I anxiously awaited the release. Best Buy had as good a price as any authorized seller so I went there. I absolutely love the results I get with this camera! It works great in both aperture and shutter priority mode which I use alot. The effects are a nice bonus. Manual mode is a little difficult to navigate and the Snapbridge app isn't real user friendly on the iPhone. Overall, a great camera and lenses and at $699 on sale-a great value!

I picked up this camera to replace an old point and shoot. I am very impressed with the quality for the price. I expected a large bump but the amount of control is great. I love the easy of taking photos and how well I can fine tune the settings to get the exact pictures I desire. Being able to swap lenses and hardware add to the functionality of the camera and bring extra growth potential. I would definitely recommend this as a first or entry level DSLR. Well worth it for the price point.
