I love this camera from the moment I got it. I was kind of skeptical about getting it at first but I don't regret it.

My son saved half the amount for this kit. He also researched before purchasing. This camera takes beautiful pictures and is very easy to learn for the beginner. Uploads are a breeze. Good choice for him. I only wish it had come with a case, for the price point it should have. We bought one on line for 25.00 and are now all set.

Great camera! I bought it for my daughter for her Christmas gift--she loved it. The setup was easy and controls are intuitive. I really enjoyed the video from Nikon which helped her get use to all the controls and explained all the features of the camera, along with some helpful tips on taking great pictures.

If you’re like me and you don’t have unlimited funds, this is it. I have loved the Nikon D3400. It’s simple and easy to use. It’s great when paired with your iPhone. The lenses that it comes with are very nice. The 70-300 lens definitely produces nicer quality photos than the 18-55 lens. Get yours now!

Great camera for begginers. Although I have never messed with a camera this advanced,it was pretty easy to get the hang of. It captures beautiful pictures. My camera came with an extra lens and a free bag for the camera,so that was a plus! You won't regret purchasing. Can't wait to start doing photo shoots with it.

The camera has had great quality so far and I am very happy with how user friendly it is. The one feature that I am in love with is the automatic syncing with my phone. It will send the photos I just took and send them directly. This allows me to upload them to my favorite social media page with zero hassle!

It's been 20 yrs since I used an SLR. Of course it was regular film back then, but for the most part not much has changed, except everything. I bought this camera for an African safari, knowing that my point and shoot camera might now be able to very effectively deal with low variations in contrast and low light. The camera was very easy to set up and get ready for automatic shooting. I rarely adjusted anything more than the iso and depth of field. I was impressed with many features of this camera. The battery life is phenomenal. I could turn it on in the morning and leave it on Auto, then pick it up in an instant when animals came into view. No waiting on startup or warm up. Focus is fast, and usually pretty accurate, unless there is a lot of vegetation or fences in the way. Low light performance wasn't too bad, and a tripod wasn't necessarily required to get shots at dusk, or sunset pictures. It can take 5 fps, which is not fast, but the shots look good. Holding down the shutter gets you about 3 to 4 seconds of photos before it has to stop and catch up to writing on the memory card (I used sandisk ultra, an extreme might work much better). Other new cameras have built in wifi to transfer photos to other devices. This one uses Snapbridge, which is a Bluetooth connection. It can be set to automatically upload photos to your device, or manually. You can't control the camera functions like you may be able to with wifi cameras, but the Bluetooth uses far less power. Everything else works as you might expect from a SLR. The lenses attach and detach easily, the LCD screen is bright (non touch screen), and the buttons and dials are easy to use. The main dial and shutter are large enough to use with gloves. The built in flash is sufficient for most short range shooting. All in all I really like the camera. It takes good pictures for hobbyists and travelers, and has enough advanced features for those getting into or getting back into photography.

I've always had Canon cameras before and decided to finally switch over to Nikon - definitely not disappointed!
