I am writing to sing the praises of this Nikon camera. We were on a game reserve in south africa and purchased this camera to record the important memories of this experience. the pictures we took were outstanding. The others on our trip exclaimed that our pictures blew theirs away!! The entire group requested copies of the pictures we took on the trip. I highly recommend this camera!!!

I have always loved Nikon film cameras. But, since the digital age, I have not owned one. We finally decided to make the step to get a DSLR. I researched quite a bit and found that this camera has great resolution and the package came with 2 lenses, all priced at a level of competitor cameras with fewer features and lower resolution. I consider this a great deal and the photos have been turning out great!

It took me some time getting used to this camera because I started with a Sony (borrowed for the class). But my husband bought this for me after he saw how much I loved doing this. I still learn something new each time I use it. Battery life is great. Would def recommend it.

I have looked at this Camera for over 2 years and have always hesitated to buy it. I have recently purchased the camera because it was on sale at a good price. I LOVE it ! it works well with every picture and scenery i have used it in. Pictures are very clear with both lenses that came with the camera. I would highly recommend this camera to any one starting out with photography or even an experienced photographer.

Got a great price on this so I could not pass it up. Went back and forth between NIkon and Canon, but this camera won. Still figuring everything out, but so far, so good. Minor complaint is the battery life. Definitely recommend getting a back-up battery, especially if you are going to be out and about taking a lot of pics and can't recharge. But really not an issue for me so far. Everything else is great about this camera.
