Beautiful photos and easy to get started. Many options to enhance photo quality and adapt to every environment. Getting an extra lens and carry bag a big plus. On the minus side,Bluetooth transfer to app didn’t work! For me ,though, easier to use Nikon Image Space for transfer to iPad and edit and store. Would recommend camera.

A good camera. Love the color. Haven't tested it out much but seems simple to use for a beginner. Light weight and came with a bag at time of purchase. Second lens doesn't have much use without a tripod. Good value still.

I had a pretty good idea what the 3400 was capable of, as I used a D3100 a couple years ago. I wasn't disappointed. The 3400 package functions well. I have no problems with the camera nor its lenses. Now, that I've migrated from film photography, I find that I take more pics. The camera/lenses perform well in all light conditions. I'm particuliarly, excited about the cameras low-light and night time photos. They come out sharp and clear. Unlike the hassle with film cameras. I've only been able to use the built in flash, which has done a good job. I tried using my old flash unit but it wouldn't work. Suspect it's too primitive for the 3400 to recognize and drive. The battery allowed me to take about 150 pics. I didn't tap the battery out, but it was at 1 bar and I had shot several pics at such. Also, I didn't use the viewfinder to take photos, but the screen. The manual implies this will use up power at quicker pace. I haven't used the Bluetooth feature. It's not something I need. I did try to mess with the software for it, but it wanted to auto load it on my PC. I quit at that point. The package comes with an actual paper manual. You know, the kind one can put in your camera to take into the field for reference vs. CD/DVD.

Bought this camera after giving my canon to my daughter for school. Absolutely love this one, lighter and easier to use. Photos are beautiful. Recommend for beginner like myself.

The specs on this camera, at the advertised price, with 2 lenses and a camera bag... great value! Surprisingly light, fast burst shot, comfortable in the hand, intuitive to use menus, great battery life.... yes, it doesn't feel as solidly built as the cameras of 20 years ago, but that is the result of delivering a product with this low a weight. Easy on the neck and shoulder. Recommend this camera in this price point!

The camara is good build quality from cannon, take amazing pictures easy to use and the price was unbeatable very happy with my purchase, the bundle lens is super.

Had my first grandchild born before Christmas and needed a camera besides my phone to collect memories. My son had purchased the 3300 days before the birth and I liked it. When I went looking this one was on sale with some extras he had to pay for. Actually got upgraded version of his for less money! Love the PicBridge program which allows me to download pictures from the camera to my phone via Bluetooth.

This camera has been easy from the beginning. Takes great photos with no effort from the user. I have enjoyed taking long range action pics. Super clear.

I purchased this camera for taking pictures at the Middle School where I am a science teacher. We keep a digital diary of the events during the year to supplement the yearbook. This camera meets our needs to a tee. It is easy to use for our tech-savvy students and not so savvy teachers.

Got this as a gift for my wife. The features are many and she had the luxury of having used our son's older model D3400. The autofocus is a little different for her as it is automatic and you can fine focus manually. So far she is learning to use it and is very happy with it. Amazing quality photos and the Bluetooth works very well. The color on the body is amazing. Great package for the price.

This camera is amazing, and great for beginners. My husband and I both love it and are so happy with the purchase. It's also a great deal, making it even better. I will say that the SnapBridge is a little glitchy, which is the function to connect it through bluetooth to your phone to instantly transfer photos, but we just connect to the computer to upload and that works perfectly.
