This camera is a great camera for a novice like myself. The Guide mode does all the work for you to get you started taking pictures. Aside from someone with more professional needs like for pictures for National Geographic, this camera fits the bill.

Wanted to get my son his first serious camera and looking at all the brands. The Nikon had the best combo of price and features. He loves the camera and will give him a great start. The two lenses that came with the camera are amazing. Would strongly recommend this camera as a great starter camera

This is my first digital SLRD camera. I have not been disappointed. It is extremely easy to use for a beginner, yet sophisticated enough for the serious photographer. The lens are easily changeable. The camera is very light, but feels comfortable, well balanced, and sturdy. I have really enjoyed using it.

Have always been a canon fan. We lost our older canon and needed to get a replacement. Was looking back and forth between this and the canon model. Went with this deal that had the bag and memory card. This was a great deal getting both lenses and the other items. If you are looking for a good camera for either just starting out or intermediate level pictures you can not go wrong with this camera especially at this price.
