Very nice camera. Takes good Pictures and is easy to use

Having used a point and shoot digital camera nearly 20 years, I decided to go for a dslr. No regrets about this choice, this camera has all the features someone new to this could need. Included lens is fine but will soon want to add additional lenses.

Amazing starter camera. I had a blast with this and I think it's a perfect fit for someone trying to get into photography at a low price. I will say, I did not use the stock lens at all. it was much more in my interest to buy a prime lens and work with that.

My wife was looking for a camera to take on our vacations, and we are totally satisfied with our purchase. This camera takes wonderful pictures. We haven't had time to fiddle around with all of the features, so I'm sure we haven't even used it to its full potential.

I was very pleased with the versatility and performance of this camera. Have had many compliments on the quality of the photos I've taken with it, and the zoom lens is sufficient & perfect for all of my needs and quality is similar to more higher prices cameras.

Amazing camera! I’m a beginner and compared Cannon vs Nikon. I’ve purchased both and the Nikon felt more comfortable to me. Nikon feels better and more professional than Cannon. Otherwise everything else is the same.

No problems with this camera so far. great pictures, and it works with the lenses we purchased for our older model. We use this for a lot of sports pictures, and the sport mode works well to get good action shots.

Having had an entry level Nikon D40X for about 12 years, and many thousand pictures, it had to be replaced! I am most impressed with the many added features and quality of the pictures, with the D3500 and look forward to recording many wonderful memories!

Great camera for a good price. Nikon makes great cameras and I needed a decent camera for being able to take pictures. That's where the D3500 comes in. With help from a family member who also owns a D3500, I was able to take pictures of what I needed.

Camera is designed so it's easy to handle. I think it's a good choice for a first DSLR. It's easy to setup and start using out of the box, but there are a lot of features that you can use as you learn about them.

This camera is great fast shooting solid in low and bright light. Mirrorless option really sets it apart from other similar cameras. Very good balance and the weight is perfect for my son.

Good entry level DSLR, the manual settings are very easily accessed and modified. The Guide mode is nice in getting base settings for certain shots but I usually change things up. The focusing seems to be a bit off at times and the pictures could be sharper but we are still learning.

I have only purchased Sony cameras for a few years now. This is the first one I have broken my tradition with. But, this Nikon D3500 is a wonderful camera. Makes great pictures. I am happy with it.

This is our third Nikon camera from Best Buy and we have never had any trouble with them. They all took great pictures. One purchase was an upgrade and the third purchase was to replace a stolen Nikon.

I've had the D3000, D3100, D3200, D3400, and now the D3500. They are all very good cameras. I like them so much that I trade up each time the next model comes out.

We have it on a long trip, battery lasts a very long time - which is convenient since we are overseas. Haven’t printed the pics, but it downloads the pics automatically to my iPad. They look great on a screen.

Got my camera for Christmas and I love using it. It is currently snowing where I live in Louisiana which is unusual so I am taking beautiful pictures with it.

It's quite lightweight and can be held with one hand easily when not taking photos -- a great replacement for my aging Canon.

This camera is easy to understand and use. It is comfortable to hold and light weight. It has all the features my wife was looking for in a camera.

Love this camera, reliable and great quality. Been using it for product, nature, and wedding photography. A little editing and you got yourself a thousand dollar picture.
