my first experience with a DSLR. I am very satisfied. I encourage who want to start in the world of photography.

I need better description of all functions? How to use each one? By the time I get the camera set the picture I wanted is gone. By the time I learn how to use it, it will be worn out. Even so, I am getting great photos and enjoying playing with it. OH ya I'm 82 yrs young.

This is my very first camera. This is a very easy to use beginner camera for beautiful quality.

I bought this camera to upgrade from a Nikon D40 which I traded in to put towards this purchase. I'm super happy with it so far. I recently started a small photography business and wanted something with more focus points (this has 11, the D40 had 3), a bigger screen (the d3500 is NOT a touch screen nor does it flip out), and this set came with a 70-300 mm zoom lens and the 18-55 mm for about $500. I think it's a great camera for the price for someone starting out that doesn't want to break the bank on a camera & lens kit. I have a 32GB memory card that I used with my D40. With the D40 it said I could store up to 4k RAW photos, but with the D3500 it says I can store only 1K. You may want to purchase larger memory cards for more storage space.

This is my first DSLR Camera. It is easy to use and has a great auto mode. I’m looking forward to using the Nikon photography courses to advance my knowledge and take even better photos.

I have taken over 2000 photos already,many learning how to use the camera.Simple to use with outstanding pics.I'm having so much fun.

Excellent camera. This camera far exceeds most casual photographer's needs for family/ hobby photography. After using it for a few weeks, I find myself wanting to explore more serious photography. For family/ portrait photography, I highly recommend getting this camera and then purchasing a lense with shorter focal length and larger aperture, like the Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 35mm f/1.8G Lens.

Having owned Nikon cameras in the past, I trusted their quality and reliability. I decided to upgrade to the D3500 and I'm very pleased with it. Camera functions are familiar but with added features. The zoom lens is fantastic. Being an avid bird watcher, I've taken great pictures with this camera. I couldn't be any more pleased with my purchase. Highly recommend this camera and two lens package.

This is my first dslr camera. I love taking wildlife a snd zoo photos. I had a super zoom point and shoot camera. This camera is amazing I just got it a few days ago and am already taking awesome photos. I definitely recommend this camera. I included some photos I took on my first day using this camera.

I’m a bit of a newby when it comes to photography but this camera did not disappoint! I know there are other better suited lenses out there for night photography but this kit lens did just fine capturing the northern lights. Very happy with my purchase and would recommend to anyone! :)

I got this for nature and landscape photography and have not questioned my decision at all. High quality pictures and durability is all included in this camera. From trips to the beach to hikes in the woods, this camera has been reliable for me.

I got this to be able to take my own family photos. I have since taken not only mine but friends photos. These are awesome quality photos even without editing.

Nikon is just a great camera. The lens allows me to get Sports action pictures that parents can't get with their cell phones. These two items sure go hand in hand.

it is exactly what i wanted in a camera. I can really get some nice zooming with the big lens. Camera phones just don't do what this does.

I bought this camera almost a year ago. I got into photography when I put a bird feeder in my backyard. This camera has been EXCELLENT. Even with the kit lenses it takes super sharp images. The "guide" mode is perfect for beginners looking to hone their skills. The 300mm lens really let's you get close to your subject. I really can't say enough good things about this camera. I have been able to take some really great pictures of my feathered friends with it.

I am just getting into DSLR and out of point and shoot cameras. After all my research, everything pointed me to this camera. And so far, it has not disappointed.

I’ve never had a Nikon let me down, and I’ve been using them for over 25 years. I don’t think you can get better for your money on this deal.
