I upgraded from a Nikon D5300 and am so glad I did. This camera takes beautiful pictures and you can transfer pictures from this camera to your phone using the Nikon SnapBridge app, which is a great feature. I would definitely recommend this camera to anyone looking to upgrade.

I have to say, this camera shocked me. I was debating between DX and FX cameras for about two weeks before I pulled the trigger on the D500. What were the deciding factors? Let's break it down: 1st- this camera has an incredible shutter speed with an AF system that outperforms any other Nikon of this caliber. 2nd- the low light performace is great. I do product photography and this feature lets me push the creative limits of this camera. 3rd- the lens that comes with the kit is superb. It's an excellent all-around, everyday, option. 4th- I have a 500mm lens and the DX sensor provides quite a bit more reach. This is great for when I'm shooting sports. The only issue I have this this unit would be the lack of an "Auto" setting. Not because I don't know how to shoot, but it would be nice if a co-worker could shoot pics if I'm not around. You can't go wrong with this camera.

I’m not a pro. I don’t need two card slots. I don’t need a battery grip. 24+ vs 20+ megapixels. I can’t tell the difference. Great grip. Beautiful color and images. Suggestion: buy the 16-80 kit. So much more range. Bottom line: fantastic combo!!

I call this my "baby D850" since it has the same overall design as the D850 but in a smaller and lighter form factor. Great for sports, wildlife and vaction photography. Good enough for portraits as well. Very happy with this purchase.

Best camera I have ever laid hands on. Forget Fx format and go Dx with this camera... crazy good glass came with it. I shoot everything from commercial, bands, boudoir and babies... well you name it... I shoot it and I love this camera.

There are only a few cameras better than this one, but they all come at a premium price. Even for pro photographers who are in a budget or for anyone who can afford it, it's the best camera for its price. Best gift I ever gave myself.

Also a great camera in terms of all around performance.

This camera is A LOT! I have only begun to scratch the surface of what it can do. Out of the box it is an amazing performer. Even with novice setting changes that aren't exactly right it produces exceptional photographs.

Great revamp on old Nikon. My wife’s camera was 8 years old and this camera shoots incredibly better. She still needs to review all the bells and whistles, but so far so good

D500 has many good features in manual and auto focus.Have to practice operating it's great features.

my nikon D500 SLR with the nikon 16mm-80mm lens has far exceptions great combo it s now my go to system I have many Nikon lens, now the new 16mm-80mm is my constant companion

This camera is a dream come true. Blazing fast shutter. A big upgrade from my D5500 and definitely worth each penny. Not a full frame camera but can surely keep up with one.

After just a limited amount of time with the camera, I can tell it will only get better as my skill improves. I’m glad I bought the camera.

captures excellent pictures and got all latest tech, best with prime lens, must buy prime lens Nikon 50mm f/1.8G or f/1.4G along with the bundle.

Excellent pro grade body for shooting wildlife. I use this along with my full frame camera for portraits and landscapes and I've got everything covered.

Bought this camera for my grandson-a student of film and he really has enjoyed it, Has taken sone terrific pictures already

Very well built camera. Having to do some tweaking with the settings, but will just need to keep trying to perfect.

This Nikon does it all and it built very well. The controls are intuitive and most importantly the photos are amazing.

This was an excellent upgrade from Nikon D7000 which I used for about 5 years. So far I am very impressed with the results.
