Super good quality, I dropped it several time but still good to use. Easy to operate for a beginner, I think my shooting skill is improving since I got it. Love it so much.

The camera takes great photos and interfaces with Windows 7 software seemlessly. Taking photos in the mode set to automatic is easy. Taking photos in any provided mode is easy. Out of automatic the settings and operations menu are both slightly complicated to access, find and navigate. Overall, however, love the camera.

As a beginner, this camera is a great investment. I have tried a number of DSLR cameras available but nothing beats my new Nikon D5300. Easy dowload of pictures through its wi-fi capability. I am able to grab photos from my camera without removing my memory card, which was a hissle before. Lightweight but durable. I am so happy to have it in my possesion and have my date with nature. Worth recommending to those who are looking for an affordable and reliable DSLR camera.

I first bought this camera for my barbershop to take pictures of the haircuts with higher quality than a phone camera. It has been great for me so far I'm a beginner so day by day I am still learning what functions work best for me. One of the main selling points for me was the wifi option the camera has which makes it easy for me to get my pictures instead of having to use a computer to upload them. I would recommend it and once I find out which lens I really need then it'll take my pictures to the next level.

The Nikon 5300 is a very good camera. I took numerous pictures during the holiday's. It is easy to use and takes excellent pictures with little effort.
