I have been a Cannon girl for over 8 years. I recently started working with Nikkons at my full time job. I knew that i wanted to try out the Nikkon 5300 but never took the leap. Your representative in the Gainsville, Florida made my choice so easy to make and found me a great deals on accessories needed for the camera. I will recommend anyone to your business to all my fellow photographers.

this is a great starter camera for those wanting to upgrade from point and shoot to dslr. there a lots of features some that will take some time and research on how to use. my only complaint so far, is and I don't know if it is even an option, but you can't convert file format in the camera. so if you like to shoot in raw (nef) format, you will need some kind of picture editing program to convert your pictures to jpeg, so that they can be viewed on most tablets and computers. otherwise you can just shoot in jpeg format to begin with, but you lose all your picture editing features, there is a feature that will allow you to take both jpeg and raw pics at the same time, but it will take up most of your memory card. overall I am satisfied with this camera. picture quality is amazing in my opinion.

I bought the Nikon D5300 for my husband after he went through 3 Canon DSLR's in 5 yrs. He keeps wearing out the shutters. So I thought we would give the Nikon brand a try. After using the D5300 and our D3300 for about a month and half. He says he likes the Nikons better. they are easier to use, and create sharper photos and videos. I think he has finally converted from Canon to Nikon.

Best first camera for price, lots of features, easy to use, great quality.

After years of using my cell phone camera, I decided to invest in a good DSLR camera. The Nikon was exactly what I was looking for. Easy to use, light weight and it takes great photos. I am not a professional, but it has served me nicely.

This camera is so easy to use. It takes the best pictures I have ever seen.

This camera is great for the price. A great feature that it has and is the WiFi. No more plugin into the computer to view my pictures, I just connect to the camera WiFi in my phone and they are there. Great picture quality, easy to use.

This is my fourth Nikon dslr.they just keep getting better.my photography looks professional and I owe it all to these cameras.I especially like this camera because of the adjustable screen,I have cataracts and it is hard to see through the view finder this lets me continue to enjoy my hobby

Easy to use takes great picture quality. Also great for beginners.

Was debating between this one and the T5 from Cannon... this beats it, has way more features included, not heavy at all, the pop out screen is super helpful and the pictures are super clear. Completely recommend it!

It's easy to use and takes great, professional quality photos.

I bought this camera for my upcoming vacation and I can say it was worth every penny. The quality of the pictures, and specially the video, is superb. Even my cousin who has used the D3200 for a while was very surprised to see the upgrades and differences. I was a bit disappointed with the wi-fi capabilities but other than that it is a great camera.

Very Nice camera. No issues and its easy to beat the learning curb. It looks intimidating but its not as long as you use it. Everyone loves the wifi and I can send pictures straight to my phone instantly. Thanks!

Very nice camera with dozens of resources, high quality, take fast photos, Auto selection of configuration, nice photos in low lighting environments, photos very clear, nice screen, etc. Actually I am not a professional photographer but after buying this, I intend to become one. Highly recommended if you want professional photos.

did a lot of research on this camera prior to purchase & was VERY pleased with this camera. still learning a lot about its functions but was happy to read in a camera magazine that it was first in its class
