Clarity of pictures is too good. With this kind of lens it's easy to take pictures without changing lens for taking near pictures

This is my second camera, we chose this because of the WI-FI feature,,, I have had a couple of shoots with it and so far LOVE IT! Nice clear crisp photos :)

This is our first DSLR camera and has been great taking photos. The WiFi is a great feature it you want to be able to send pictures to relatives or friends on Facebook. The battery lasted for several day, I think we took close to if not more than 700 photos before the battery died. I would highly recommend this camera! It makes me feel like an professional photographer

I bought this camera for my daughter's wedding and I am so glad I did, the pictures are awesome. This is my first DSLR camera and the difference in picture quality from a point and shoot camera is unbelievable.

Very happy with the purchase of this camera. After only having Canon cameras through the years I was hesitant to place this order. However, it was very easy to learn and I am beyond happy with the results. I have mainly used this for indoor cheerleading competitions and wheelchair basketball tournaments and the fast shutter speed has produced many non blurred pictures. I look forward to finding other opportunities to use this camera.

The quality is superb If it was smaller & lighter it would be perfect but a Nikon is hard to beat.

This is my first DSLR camera and I greatly enjoy it. I have had no trouble taking very nice pictures for work a changing out lenses as necessary. The camera options are many and easy for a beginner to sort through, and I'm sure there are plenty more to discover along the way if I desire but I am able to get what I want in my pictures and videos even with my basic understanding.

If you are into great pictures you have a hard time going wrong with a D5300. The 18-140 lens is ultra sharp and has enough reach to get almost anything you encounter.

Love my new d5300! The picture quality is great with the kit lens and I love all the effects available on this camera body!

If you have used a Nikon dslr before, then it will be easy to pick up the basic functions of this camera as well. There are a lot of effects you can use too, which are great! And when going to a live music show, it actually has a pretty good sound quality on video (compared to my previous D5000.) Bonus!

Set up is easy. Started taking pix right away. Buy a good sd card (sandisk extreme plus 32gb recommended). Camera will be with you a long time due to it's ability to grow with you. Superior to previous models. Just buy it!

I upgraded from the D3100 to the D5300 and i am very impressed with the enhanced picture quality and fold out LCD screen.

Relatively newer photographer. First DSLR. Everything I could have asked for from a camera at this entry point.
