Takes great pictures in every situation. A great camera in every way except: 1. Lacks GPS sensor, 2. It can be hard to see focused images in viewfinder, you think it is out of focus, but the pictures come out great.

Did not want to go to a big full frame camera, had the D3300 and wanted a step up but still small camera with the revolving screen. This does everything I need it to do plus not being really heavy.

This camera has great quality and is not too difficult to learn how to use all of the functions. I recommend watching youtube videos specific for this camera to learn everything it has to offer.

This is my second camera. In general, I think this is one of the best cameras on the current market. I have used it for couple different photo events and the photos are amazing. GET THIS CAMERA!

I felt in love with this camera. It is quick and easy to use. I was really impressed with pictures I made at night - they are bright and it is hard to say they were taking around 11 pm.

I upgraded from a Nikon D40 and this is a tremendous upgrade. Takes great shots. Indoor shots are very good. The video shoots in high quality. Very happy with this camera.

Great Nikon bundle. Other then NFC. This is basically same sensor and same sharp pictures and result if you know how to use it. This two lens covered most of the range.

the camera experience my wife had was all praise. the fact that the 18x55 and 70x300 mm lenses came with the camera has made her photo taking that much more enjoyeable.

This was our second choice when we couldn't get the high profile camera. Excellent pictures and using this for digital photography class. You won't be disappointed!

The camera is excellent for begginers. For the majority of people this is on if the best to get. My wife had Nikons before so I'm familiar with. Easy to use

A lot of automated functions. Took a bit of time to figure out how to use the self timer. Produces good quality JPEG photos. Easy to download. The main reason I bought this camera was for the review screen that could be flip around when not being used. This prevents the screen from being scratched.

The DSLR is very good one for beginners and gives a very good amount of features than its predecessor like touch screen panel and wi fi connectivity.

This is my first personal camera purchase after being an assistant photographer for 2 years. I love this camera and would recommend it to beginners.
