    I don't want to buy expensive camera but my brother said this camera is great. So I tried it. The picture is very clear. Easy to handle. But I am disappointed with optical zoom. It has only 3x zoom. Otherwise the camera is great.

    OK.... there are so many options that if you are a cell phone or point and shoot person, you might feel a little overwhelmed. This camera will do the whole point and shoot thing, but if you are going to spend the money... Best understand what ISO, shutter speed, aperture mean and do for pictures. If your are a super model photographer-wanna-be (not a professional, but have some skills)... this might be a good intermediate camera for you.

    When in Auto mode, this camera is user friendly for any experience level. There are a LOT of capabilities I have yet to explore. I've struggled to connect it to wifi, which is why I have rated it 4/5 stars.

    I used to do a lot of film photography (had 2 F bodies, lenses, bulk loaded my own rolls of B&W). Stepped away from photography for a while until l this. Okay, it's not a full frame sensor, but it's not over $1k either. My only complaint is that the telephotos they bundle are never VR lenses, so do yourself a favor and buy a good VR telephoto down the line.

    I figured for the money, I would get two lenses and a good camera with 24 megapixels, a great setup for me. I do need to learn how to use all of the features as my last camera was bought back in 1975.
