I love this camera. I thought it was going to be complicated to use but am very pleased. I would suggest reading the manual then viewing youtube videos on things you do not grasp well. Especially the ability to use back button focusing.

I finally made the jump from the D90 to the D610. EXCELLENT camera. The only negative is the battery pack. Whereas the D90 battery pack houses both batteries, the D610 battery pack houses only 1. The other is in the camera body, which means you have to remove the battery pack to get to it. A bit inconvenient. Otherwise, no other complaints.

Great Camera had to upgrade from D600 due to shutter recall SO got a new 610 and it has a few more features than 600. Noted faster rapid shot and faster processing of RAW files

I think this is a great camera if you're moving up from a DX sensor. I had a D90 and wanted a full frame sensor without the price tag of the d800 or d4. This one fit the bill. Just like the d600 but without the dust issues on the sensor. I highly recommend it.

This is the most affordable full-frame DSLR. It tkes great pictures and reaching a shallower depth of field easier has just been blowing me away. I also like now I can push the ISO when i have to and not worry TOO much.
