Customers are saying
Customers express satisfaction with the D7100 DSLR Camera's superior image quality and ease of use. Many appreciate its extensive features and competitive price point, while some note limitations in buffer size and the lack of built-in Wi-Fi. Positive feedback also highlights its strong low-light performance and responsive autofocus system. The camera's lightweight design is another frequently cited advantage.

The percent sized DSLR
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have three large format digital cameras all made by Nikon. so because of that I wanted to get a small format digital just to keep in my bag for when I didn't want to lug around all of the other cameras. this camera is absolutely perfect it takes astonishing photos and the quality is just about as good as my d600.

Best DX Camera out there
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgrading form a D3000 and D70, the D7100 is dream! I seriously can't leave the house without it. I'm just starting my carrier in photography... and new I couldn't charge for a wedding with the cameras I had. I had a hard time deciding between a Full Fame D600 and the Crop D7100. I still had a few DX lenses... and needed to buy a lot of accessories (tripod, lens, battery grip, memory cards, flashes..... and more) so I decided to go for the D7100 with it's low price point to accommodate for the cost of all the extras I needed. I definitely made the right choice! Maybe next year the price will drop on the D600 so I can buy it and use both for my wedding gigs. I feel like the ONLY thing the D7100 is lacking is the actual full frame sensor. It's perfect in every other way.

Great camera for any level
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I researched this and other cameras long before the purchase. It is amazing. It can be set up in auto mode and will do great but once you learn the additional settings it takes it to a higher level. The next level camera jumps in price by over $1000.00 and unless your a pro I don't think it is worth it. The very first picture I took was the best I have ever taken. If you can't decide I would push you towards this one and tell you to enjoy.

I haven't figured out all the kinks.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm not a professional photographer. Thought this camera would be even easier to use than the d90 it's replacing. It's not though. Well I'm sure it will be once I read the instructions. But until then it is apparent that I don't know what I'm doing. I like the weight of it tjoufh and the fact that it fits my other lenses. Not sure that I would buy it again yet though. Was so hopeful that it would be out the box awesome according to the other reviews.

Great upgrade from D90
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've owned a 8008s, D40, D90, and now the D7100. Was deciding whether to go D600 or D7100 and based on various factors such as getting new lenses; decided to stay with D7100. I've owned it for about a month and have taken some sunset; daylight; and indoor, no flash, at a concert pictures. There is a noticeable increase in picture quality from the D90. Less noise at high ISO (concert pics). More "depth" in color (sunset and daylight) pics. Easier to change settings with on board buttons. Since I'm an amateur, not a professional, this camera will give me all the quality in pictures I need; without the additional cost of the D600 and upgrading my DX lenses to full frame lenses. Glad I bought this camera. Focusing is accurate and quick. Highly recommended.

Best DX camera for an enthusiast
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A great camera for those looking to upgrade as it adds many of the menu functions of a beginner camera to the outside body, allowing the user to control most of the camera without diving into the menus. This camera is built tough and it fits great in your hands ergonomically. It is weather resistant allowing use in not so great weather. It has a built-in focus motor so it is compatible with older lenses and even 3rd party lenses that don't have the auto-focus motor built in. The auto-focusing system is superb and its able to grab a focus point, even in terrible light. This is the best camera you can purchase from Nikon before moving into the full-frame realm.
