Customers are saying
Customers express satisfaction with the D7100 DSLR Camera's superior image quality and ease of use. Many appreciate its extensive features and competitive price point, while some note limitations in buffer size and the lack of built-in Wi-Fi. Positive feedback also highlights its strong low-light performance and responsive autofocus system. The camera's lightweight design is another frequently cited advantage.

This camera is for semi-professionals
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Nikon D7100 was not designed for the average consumer: it is a semi-professional camera that needs to be learned in order to use it in it's correct capacity. This should not be a camera that you buy to simply set on "Auto" mode and just snap pictures (though it does that just fine). If "Auto" mode is on, the entire exterior of the camera is completely void of purpose. Get to know this camera, and you will be pleased. It is a good camera for the price.

Awesome camera!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great camera for money. Watched a ton of reviews on it before purchasing and so glad I did. It was solo worth the wait! The mobile phone remote app is the best ever!

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a camera while I was visiting another state and after reading a few reviews and checking this camera out at Best Buy I decided to purchase this one. an overall great camera that is not overly heavy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The camera can be used by newer or advanced or pro photographers. It has good weather sealing and it not so heavy it feels like a brick. Viewfinder is just great and image detail is great. No problem so far with moire patterns (a worry for some) and menus and settings are familiar for Nikon shooters. I am happy with it. The files are not so large as on the D800, so no storage problem.

Top notch product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was waiting for a D300 replacement, but it appears not to be in the books. This camera fills my needs though & at a lower price point. Like the D300, it is able to use older manual focus lenses & still be able to meter which is great as I still have all of my old film lenses. Like the fact that is is weather resistant like the D300 is too

Another great Nikon product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I moved from the D50 (entry level) to the D7100 (intermediate level) for greater speed and versatility. The D7100 operates a lot like my old film camera, F2A. Love this new camera. Just need to update my lenses.

This is a great camera for advanced users.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was an upgrade for a d5000. The d7100 is an amazing camera that gives me the features, image quality and performance to advance my photography skills. In order to achieve the full potential, proper exposure and focus is absolutely required. In addition, upgrading to a higher quality lens is needed to get best image quality. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Absolutely exceeds my expectations.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I shot with a Nikon D50 for years and it was a good camera, but it was time to move up. The D7100 had everything I could possibly need. 24.1 megapixels produces incredibly clear, vibrant photos. Settings designed for intermediate to pro photographers makes it ideal for every photo opportunity. I couldn't have made a better choice. Love it! Love it! Love it!

Great camera for an Intermediate user
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great camera for someone who is on their way to being a professional photographer. A great camera to learn how to shoot in manual mode. Can make ISO, aperture, shutter, and exposure setting changes without looking away from the view finder. All around great camera. Would have loved it and given a 5 star rating if it also had a touch screen and wifi built in.

Really great camera for mid level use.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I shoot a lot of youth sports under very difficult light. The high iso of this camera is great. The extra reach of the new crop factor 1.3 really helps. Not much of a upgrade from the D7000. If you are comming from a D90 you will notice a big differance.

The Best semi-professional APSC size DSLR Camera!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded from the D7000 which was a great camera in its own right. The D7100 has met and surpassed all the needs that I have. I'm very impressed by the level of detail this camera can achieve. The construction feels so solid & sturdy and not 'plastic-y'.

Excellent

Great camera experience
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm just getting back into the SLR world with this camera. I still have my film Nikon SLR (that I bought probably around 1990) and my lenses for that camera work great with the D7100. I've been using super zoom point and shoots for several years and finally wanted to step up. This was a huge step. So far very pleased with the pictures I'm getting, even though I'm still learning the camera.

better than an intermediate camera
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had it for almost a month and couldn't be happier, not only does it do what I thought it would but I'm finding new functions every day. The more I use it the more I understand the manual. I would make the same purchase all over again.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am an advanced photographer I have owned a few nikons two 8008s a F4s and a Fuji S3pro which basically a Nikon . So all my lens cross to the d7100 which so far I am loving it. This camera is no a beginner camera it is intermediate to advance camera. If you want want to use it to its full potential you will have to do some reading.

The D7100 is a big step-up from the D70
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Nikon D7100 is a huge step-up from the Nikon D70 I have been using for the past 10 years. The resolution quality is fantastic and I love that all of my Nikon lenses from the D70 function wonderfully on this new remarkable camera body.

A Great Camera - Full Featured. Great Pictures.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This camera is an upgrade to my 7000. It has great features. Takes great pictures, both in full auto and manual modes. The display window is larger. I do miss the scratch cover the 7000 came with, time will tell if it easy scratches - So far so good. I've only played with Video a little. I bought the camera for photos, not for the video. The videos look good though.

Great camera with tons of features.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently upgraded from a Nikon D80 to the D7100. They are completely different, and the 7100 is more clear. Although the price of the D7100 is much higher than a few Nikon models, I do love this camera and the fact that it can also record video.
