Customers are saying

Customers express satisfaction with the D7100 DSLR Camera's superior image quality and ease of use. Many appreciate its extensive features and competitive price point, while some note limitations in buffer size and the lack of built-in Wi-Fi. Positive feedback also highlights its strong low-light performance and responsive autofocus system. The camera's lightweight design is another frequently cited advantage.

I looked hard between the D610, D600 and this one and after reading dozens of reviews i came to believe that spend your money on the lenses and buy a body that is affordable. This is the last camera model before you take a big jump in price for your lenses. the next model up will be a full frame camera.

I am an amateur photographer and have been very happy that I chose the Nixon over the other choices that I had. I formerly had a Canon DSLR which I was happy with, but when it died, I did a lot of research and comparison. I choose the Nixon for a variety if reasons, even though the price was slightly higher. It is a very solid camera and has more focal point unlike the Canon. My prints are excellent and have sold several. I purchased this as a package deal and on sale. No regrets!!

I am a visual art student majoring Graphic Design at college. I needed a good camera for my Photography class. I am still trying to figure out how to use this camera every class but definitely this is a great camera not only for amateur/semi-pro/professional photographers (for their sub camera) but also those who are going to be an artist like me.

About 80% of my pictures are with existing light in churches and theaters. My previous cameras did not provide very good results in these situations. The D7100 produces good quality at even 3000 ISO. The video is also very good quality in low light when using a monopod or a tripod. I also use my D7000 Nikon when I need two camera or just to have for a backup.

The D7100 is a great camera but there is a steep learning curve and it is a little heavy for hiking

This is the camera to get especially of you have collected a bunch of DX lenses. It offers high resolution, a lot of worthwhile advancements and you can use all your DX lenses. It simply is too expensive to buy a full frame and then have to buy FX lenses. It's more enough capability for the advanced amateur photographer.

I love this camera, I was using a pretty old Rebel xTi and I can see such a difference in my picture quality that I have nothing bad to say about it. I enjoy bringing my camera everywhere and I look forward to growing my hobby into a side job! Also Best Buy let me price adjust a bundle that I found, they gave me everything in the bundle for the price that I wanted. Excellent Service!

Love the secure grip. Feels great when I hold it. Ive been shooting senior portraits and just love how it handles. Takes sharp images. For sure an upgrade. Everyone looking for a great mid-pro camera should consider this D7100 model.

This camera lives up to my every expectation. Easy to use, easy to change settings, easy to adjust settings on the fly. Sure I would like to see more switches light up for night time use and sure some of the switches are hard to move with cold hands and gloves, but the camera is awesome.

This is a great DSLR and well worth the waiting. The Nikon D7100 offers a compelling set of features, in a well built weather sealed body with a great looking 3.2inch screen. An updated 51 point focus system ensures focus is rapid and reliable, with the camera responding quickly. Love my new toy!

I bought this camera to replace my D3200 Nikon. It has advanced control of the photo process but also has presets that take great photos in point and shoot modes. It is compatible with all my Nikon lenses so that was a great savings overall. Not the top of the line in DX (APS-C) format, but the overall feature set gives the photographer many levels of control that entry level DSLR's just don't have.

I teach an EAST class in Arkansas and my students needed a better choice of camera than what I had when I took over. I bought a Canon T4i last year (liked what I shot) and over the summer I saw the Nikon D7100 and thought I would like this one as well. My students, who has no real DSLR experience, LOVES both cameras, but prefer the Nikon D7100. They notice a better quality of picture, ease of use and it is really an easy camera to use for basic needs. My students have already moved beyond the basics and are now investigating the other setting and options that the Nikon D7100 has to offers. The price is a bit steep, but everything that I read convinced me that it was worth the price. I liked to so much that I have even bought another Nikon D7100 this semester, so now I have two (and I really want a third!).
