This camera launched my photography studio...!!! Very glad I bought it.

This dslr is perfect for anyone who is looking to upgrade from their entry level dslr. This camera makes shooting in low light conditions easy with it's high ISO performance. I love how I can quickly change my settings while shooting in manual without having to go to the menu to do so. The auto focus on this camera is amazing with 51 points....it's very quick and easy to focus. Overall you get a lot of bang for your buck with this camera! I am very pleased with my purchase!

I upgraded from a d5100, very happy with picture quality, ease of use, not crazy about the push buttons to change picture mode. If you get this camera you will not regret it. It requires fast cards to perform its best and good glass. I'm very pleased with this camera.

This camera is an incredible deal. From my experience so far I would say it was a great purchase. The camera is a nice size and weight for all day shooting. The image quality is remarkable. I have been getting 333 dpi on 12x18 prints and the overall tonal range that comes with that has gone beyond my expectations. I would not recommend this camera for beginners in photography. If you don't have an idea of what you are doing it could be very overwhelming with this camera. I would say if you are wanting to shoot a lot of sports photography then you might be disappointed in its proformance. It will shoot 6 shots in raw in a burst before it stops to buffer(that is with a sandisk 32gb class 10 sd card). The buffering is a little slow but expected with 24 megapixels. But so far it has met all of the needs I have for my camera.

Excellent Camera. Usual Nikon high quality with MANY advanced features allowing the user a wide range of options. This is a serious camera for a serious shooter. Has the usual "F" lens mount which allows backward compatibility with any AI/S lens. Controls well placed and easy to use.

Great camera for an advanced amateur photographer interested in wildlife photography. Rugged built and weather sealing equal to the D800, make this camera great for taking outdoors. The 1.3x crop factor on top of the 1.5x crop factor already provided by the APS-C sensor gives the user a 1.95x crop factor, for even more added reach with telephoto lenses. The F8 center focusing allows for 2X teleconverters on F4 telephoto lenses without loss of auto focus. Overall great feature set.

This is the best entry level camera you can get if you want to get better professional images without the Professional camera expense. this is good if you want to transition from an D3000+ level camera.
