The deal looked good to me at first but as I am becoming more and more familiar with the product I find the lenses unsatisfactory. The camera is great but having the right lens is equally important as the camera. This bundle simply doesn't come with the lenses I was expecting.

Got a Nikon N2000 film SLR when it came out and loved it and used it for many years. When digital cameras came out, I wanted one with my Nikon N2000's features and ease of use. Full-frame DSLRs were too expensive and many of the more entry level cameras just didn't have the features. So glad we waited (and waited) and got the D7100 8 months ago. Love it. A bit of a learning curve on where all the controls are, but easy to use once you know the basics (ISO, exposure compensation, shutter speed, etc.). And, we can use most of our lenses from our N2000 day. Very flexible camera. The kit lenses have worked out very well, too.
