The camera is the best value currently in the market. The quality of the images and the price brings difficulties to the competitors.

I really like the options on this camera. I can use manual controls or I can use preset functions. It can be as easy or as hard as I make it. There are also very good tutorials on-line to help learn all the functions. Great value for a lot of excellent options!

I had a Canon AE1 Program from the 80's that I loved, but it was not digital. This new Nikon has many of the same features, but digital. My husband and I bought this camera just prior to leaving for an Alaskan vacation, and needed a good, new camera. I am sooo proud we chose this one! The pictures are spectacular! The camera was simple to learn to operate! The stabilizer is excellent! I could go on and on how wonderful this camera is. Bundling the items with BestBuy saved us HUNDREDS of dollars!

Great camera but missing memory card

I gave the camera to my daughter for Xmas but it was missing the memory card. I emailed to Nikon but they said I have to contact you for it. No issue with camera. She loves it but it is annoying that the Memory card is missing specially when you spend over $1000.00 for a camera. http://click.emailinfo2.bestbuy.com/?qs=b6ce2f64d3b860ab0d1c45f2a696c229820ce709ede2310ab0a6fba608a875124e98dd69d14445af84ad6d07b4e460fc

Replaced a 10 year old Cannon Rebel XTi with a new Nikon D7100. Added features, faster speed and sharper image provide an excellent value. Having a wide angle and long telephoto lense included in the kit provides a wide assortment of landscape, portrait, wildlife and action sports photography.

I Previously owned a Nikon 3200 so I wanted to up grade, the D7100 is a big disappointment the photos are not sharp at all when taken indoors, out doors is some what better but it is know comparison to my old Nikon 3200, I definitely would not recommend it to any one

The D7100 is an enthusiast-level camera with more advanced features than the entry-level D3200. Please contact Nikon Support for assistance with using the features on your D7100 and getting better shots. Nikon

I am really enjoying my new Nikon. This is an upgrade from my previous Nikon and I really like the advanced features. I read about half of the manual prior to use to familiarize myself with the new features. The only changes I would make would be to have a view screen that closes as I usually do not use this feature except to view the pictures I have taken. Formatting the first memory stick was a small challenge. I used the camera Christmas day for family photos, a trip to Disney World and to southern Florida and a walk through the Big Cypress Swamp ... a Swamp walk. Great photos!!!

If used in automatic it is relatively easy to use for a beginner photographer. I am not a beginner and have been creating photographs for years. Nikon has been my 'go to' for camera equipment since my first camera purchase. The camera body is a little bulky but image quality is excellent, and ease of camera operation is a plus. I would recommend this equipment to anyone who wants to take their creativity one step further.

I bought this as a gift for my girlfriend and the pictures so far have been great. I've used this camera for some of my own projects and I've been impressed thus far with the quality and ease to capture great images. The manual settings allow a lot of room for adjustment, but a novice could set to auto and allow the camera to wow them.

I take photos for a newspaper and needed a lightweight body that was weather proof. The first night I used the camera - at a fire - the autofocus was the fastest I've ever used. Much faster than past cameras. Photos were good and in focus. Fast dials and easy to use - if you know advanced DSLR cameras.

I decided that I did not need the lenses included in the kit so I returned them and kept the camera. I am very satisfied with this camera. The pictures are great and the price is great! I am a fairly new photographer just getting my business started and upgrading from a d3200. I think this camera is perfect for my needs.

    Best DX Camera So far

The Camera is the best I have ever held. The picture quality even in auto mode is remarkable & crisp. The only con for this one is the dial for changing different modes. It takes a bit amount of time to get used to it. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the camera. My simple summary is that this camera is a bargain and that those already inclined to own the best the DX camera Nikon sells should get one.

Extremely nice camera - I am a novice with DSLR's, so it will take some time to get used to all of the available options. Might not be a great camera for beginners but tech savvy individuals should have no issue navigating the camera's abilities. Experience so far has been awesome.

Although I am a novice at photography especially with a dslr I am finding that the 7100 is easy to work with and very easy to take excellent clear photos. I bought it to take action shots of my kids and the 50-300 lense works well for now until I can save up for the 70-200

Novice with a camera of this type, but the Nikon tutorials are very helpful. Still learning and practicing, but each new session of photos show improvement. Had a point and shoot prior to this, so a bit of adjustment to size and weight. Very pleased with the camera overall and very pleased with the quality of photos.
