Image not good as a mid level DSLR
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife, my son and i compare the image quality between Canon 70d and Nikon d7100. To my surprise, the color and sharpness of the image is much better for Canon.

Good camera and good deal
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice APS-C sensor camera with good processor and resolution. Good deal since the D7200 came out. FPS a little low but enough for most purposes.

Great Bundle Deal
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing Black Friday deal! Can't wait to explore this camera! It's my first Nikon and when I did my research the only diff between the D7100 and the D7200 is the ISO and D7200 has a built in wifi. Not much of a diff for me, so I decide to go with the bundle deal and I will be on here after I figure out the camera to give a review!!! In the mean time if u need a good deal, go now!!!

disapointed shopper
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At first I thought I was getting the high-end camera. I bought it I waited for in the mail I got it. When I got it I started shooting photos after I review them I realized the quality was poor, pixelated, and overall not what I expected . I wouldn't suggest this Camera to anybody else. If you're going to buy camera don't choose this one. The d3200 had better quality photos and it cost much less.

Excellent price, excellent performance.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After doing exhaustive research for a few months, I ended up deciding for this camera model (best price/performance, none of the common issues with the D7000, prosumer model, etc). From the very first moment, I had the chance to test it in particular situations, from concerts to VERY low light shooting, using only the kit lenses, and while of course, some pictures were shaky (those lenses are not the fastest), most of them were spot on focused, and I felt comfortable using ISO 6400 with fireworks or very low light shooting. Setting it up took me only a few minutes (even considering this is my very first DSLR), and the capabilities RAW editing adds opens up a whole new world. One gripe I noticed with the kit itself besides the obvious limitations of the lenses, was the clearance room of the bag. Even though everything fitted, the D7100 BARELY squeezed through if you put it next to a wall, making a small bulge on the outside. Granted this does not add stress to the camera itself, but after a while it may become annoying. The good thing about the bag, is that it was more than enough for me to fit all the accessories I had (3 to 4 filters, caps, charger and SD cards), and I'm pretty sure I can fit a lot more, as well as the fact that I was able to add a battery grip to the camera without reaching the height limit of the bag or adding too much weight. This is of course, just the beginning. I will be getting more glass as I save money, but my first impressions (with over 1400 pictures taken in less than 5 days) have been amazing using both lenses, they both behaved very well under adverse conditions, and the camera just kept going, despite being labeled as a "pro-sumer body". Also, thank you guys at Bestbuy for the attention and good vibes despite the time. TL;DR: Not exactly a good camera for beginners; if you don't know how to use at least Aperture priority, you're not willing to setup things or don't like the idea of having too many knobs and buttons, you may be better off with a d5xxx or a D3xxx, but if you do have an idea, don't hesitate to take the chance and get this. Amazing piece of hardware if you're familiar with DSLR controls and planning to improve over time.

great camera, pictures are clear and sharp
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Went to best buy and bought this bundle.so far the pictures are really clear and sharp.I have only used the 18x55 lenses for close up photos so far.I gave my Canon 4TI to my wife and keeping this one.the rear viewing is larger than the Canon and for me the better I can see the photo the better I can retake or delete.

Perfect Camera for busy parent
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am a cubmaster and parent of 2 very active boys with a lot of activities. I was taking a lot of picture with my phone camera during all the scouting and the other activities but this was not satisfying me as an ex-photographer. FInally I got his camera during the black Friday sale with 2 great lenses and the Wifi connector and I am very happy. Now I can take almost professional quality pictures. I also invested in a good tripod, flash and set of filters. I am all set.
