I was hesitating to upgrade from Nikon d7000 which is still a great camera imo. I am so glad I did the upgrade. Nikon d7200 is superior in many aspects to its predecessors. I recommend it to everyone!

Switched from 9 year old Pentax to Nikon, glad I did. Was looking to grow my amateur photography skills. I've only tapped 20% of capability an am enjoying finding more. This more advanced model is fantastic with most features available via dial instead of menu.

This is my very first DSLR, Started learning photography on it. I am very happy with it, pictures are very sharp and crisp a specially with 50mm 1.8G lens It is a little bit heavy and once you add a big/heavy zoom lens e.g. 18-140mm it becomes big hassle to wear around neck. I would recommend it to any one who is starting out photography and wants to keep it for long time. lenses for DX/Corp sized cameras are cheaper as compare to FX/Full frame cameras. Best lens I came across for this camera is 50mm 1.8G factoring price in and picture quality.

I bought the D7200 for my 22yo son as a Christmas gift. He was using an older Nikon D90. His comments on the difference in performance and feature sets are just that it's amazing what this thing can do. The next level camera does everything the 7200 does but adds 4k video. Not being a videographer, that didn't matter. Pairing the camera with the 35mm fast lens for under $200 makes a great combo. The battery life is just like most Nikon DSLRS... It lasts longer than the average person needs it to.

So far so good. My first upgrade from a nikon d3200. Such a big difference. Feels better in my hands. I haven't been able to play with all the features but from what I'm seeing, it's a great camera.

Couldn't be more pleased about my purchase decision. I've gotten to take the camera out for a few shoots now. The picture quality has been outstanding and the speed has been fast enough to keep up with my action shots. All in all, happy with my purchase.

I would call myself a beginner photographer and I got this as my first real camera after my roommate bought the 5200. NO regrets and I love it so much more than the 5200.. definitely worth it!

I really like the camera. The sales person who sold the camera added some other features that the unit could do which cemented my purchase. I have been using the camera quite a bit already.

This was a gift to our daughter. We charged the battery so that when she opened it on Christmas she could put the lense from the older model right on the new camera. Right from the first you could tell that this was just an awesome camera

This camera was recently tested at DXO mark and was named the best crop sensor camera available. Dynamic range, bit depth, and resolution are all fantastic. I have owned a Nikon D800E, Canon mark III and mark II and many more. This camera produces files that are equal to any of them. It's easy to quickly change ISO, shutter speed, aperture, white balance or any other parameter. Battery lasts a long time. I love it.

I went from D7000 to this camera and it has been an excellent camera. Overall better pictures and with some better features then the D7000.

I got this camera got my wife. This is her first camera. You do not need all this for your first camera but I wanted to get her something nice. we end up getting d7200. The pictures come out great and I think it's an awesome camera

I purchased this camera to replace a Minolta Maxxum slr. The quality and features of this camera are amazing. The picture quality is incredible and the different settings this camera allows make for a perfect photo every time!

This Nikon DX camera is an all-around winner! The images it creates are absolutely amazing!! Who needs a full-framer when you can have the D7200 instead. You'll be amazed at how well this camera performs.

This is my second Nikon camera, as such I had no need for lenses etc. The features and functions are amazing and allow you to advance your photography. Size and weight are as expected. Highly recommend.

This was a huge upgrade from my last camera. It has a ton of options. I will be carrying the owners manual around for a while. Picture quality and shutter speed is amazing. Go ahead and buy it you won't be disappointed.

I used it for the trip to Banff national park. The pictures were taken just like what I saw in the park. And it captured animals well. It is definitely worth the price.

After a lot of research, it all came down to this camera. Coming from a an entry-level camera, this D7200 blew me away. Have used it plenty and still haven't gone through all of its features. Can't go wrong with this NIKON

I was initially shooting with a D7000. Upon realization that the D7200 existed, I immediately upgraded! The professional quality of this camera is highly attractive!

I was using a Nikon D5200 and my friend was using a Nikon D 7100 his pictures were clear and defined so I decided to buy the D7200 and I am very pleased with it. I was really happy when my wife said let's go buy it.
