This a great camera that is easy to use. Produces great photographs. Zoom range is excellent. I took a three week photography trip to China and the zoom range covered all my needs.

So far I'm loving this camera and well worth the upgrade. My first SLR was a Nikon 3100 and had served it's purpose but was time for a new one. Was looking to upgrade the body but was hesitant to spend the money on a professional level body. This enthusiast level camera is perfect for what I use it for. Excellent quality and not too big or heavy. What I love the most is the 18-140 lens I got with it. No longer do I need to switch out in trying to get the perfect zoom. Still compact and light enough for me to carry wherever I go.

This is an excellent upgrade from D7000. Although I miss 2 memory slots from my D7000, the overall improvements are worth upgrading.

I've always been a Nikon fan and this camera & lens combo continues my love of the brand. I like the controls of the body for selecting shooting modes, depth of field preview and the overall feel of the body. I'm very satisfied with the image quality and I'm looking forward to more outings to experiment with the various features it offers.

Camera is light weight and easy to use. It took no time at all to learn how to use it and it takes great pictures!

I got this camera as an upgrade from a D5200, very nice with a lot of options my D5200 doesn't have . I do mainly Landscapes, but have taken portraits and the ones I've taken are excellent. Good Job Nikon

This camera is everything I could have hoped for after doing quite a bit of research. The body has majority of the buttons and shortcuts to make changing settings quick- something valued in most situations.

Great camera so far. Clean, crisp pictures and very cool features. However, this camera is extremely heavy (to me anyway). I wouldn't recommend for prolonged photo shoots or if you're traveling. Otherwise, great camera for beginners and professionals.

this camera body is very similar to the nikon d7100. photos are excellent and controls will feel familiar if you have shot with other nikon dslrs. it has built in wifi that is very convenient for sharing photos with friends on the go. a great compromise the those looking for a nice nikon dslr, but arent ready to commit to a full frame body and lenses

coming from a Nikon D3000, this camera is extraordinary. As it stands for being a beginner, this camera is excellent to learn on. And even so, as an experienced user, coming from a lower level camera, it can easily out perform any of those models, and you can definitely get some better quality photos. If you work the camera properly, you can easily get pro level quality photos. Invest in some prime lenses too!
