I'm not a camera guru and possibly like many others trying to either get a camera to have fun with or those trying to make their way into the photography world, I purchased this camera based on looks and of course the many things it has to offer at a great price. After months of continuous research and camera comparisons, I chose this camera (as a gift for my girlfriend) and she loved it.

This was my upgrade/ replacement for the Nikon d3400. The camera is heavier than my last. Frames per second increase a lot from last. Great for sporting events and pictures of the kids.

The basic controls of the camera are typical to Nikon as I expected. The feel however is much better to handle with the deep recess for the right hand to firmly plant the fingers. The larger screen is great. The wifi is a must to share to those expected fans of photos and social media junkies. A must buy camera!

Love the camera (as I did my D7000) but not all that excited about the wireless "capability"

It takes stunning photos. I probably should’ve gotten a lower tier camera for my girlfriend who was just starting out. But I’m glad I got it because the quality of the pics are great especially when taken in raw mode.

I used to shoot with a Minolta film slr years ago. I was resisting diving into the digital era but my nephew plays hockey and I was looking for the slr experience to capture the fast paced action. I also enjoy photographing wildlife and scenery. This camera fits the bill perfectly. The buffer size is large enough to allow for several shots in continuous shooting mode. It feels good in my hands and is comfortable to use. I'm very happy with this purchase and highly recommend.

I have an older D3100 and this was purchased for a relative. I was able to play with it for a bit, and was impressed on how better it is over it's good little relative. Seriously thinking of upgrading mine now.

I started out shooting on a Nikon D3300 at the beginning of this year. Photography is something I have grown to love. For me, I have big hands, the D3300 was just too small, and I quickly wanted a larger, heavier camera, with more features. I debated between this and the Nikon D750 full frame. Honestly my decision was made for me when the D750 sale ended and jumped the price back up almost $500. Even though this wasn't my first choice, I am so happy with my decision.
The camera is large and heavy enough in my hands to feel like a "real" camera.
The specs are amazing, and the photos produced are even better.
I can see this being my go to camera for the next few years until I make the leap to a full frame.

I had the Nikon D7000 DSLR camera and this is updated in a few ways. The Nikon - D7200 Dslr Camera With 18-140mm Lens is faster, has an easier flash adjustment and is able to capture longer distance.

This is a wonderful camera! I've captured some great photos of my wild children! It does get heavy after awhile, but totally worth it! Can't wait to get some money saved up to buy some more lenses!!!

We had a Cannon that was 4 years old. We decided to upgrade. This is a good camera. Has many options and features that honestly you need to take a class on how to use everything. Very Happy so far.
