Definitely worth the difference over a D610.
I have both, and IMNSHO Nikon is crazy to clutter their line-up by offering both. Just stick with the 750 ! But ALL camera brands seem intent on offering a confusing array of too many models with too little difference between each step in the line.
The most noticeable thing about the 750, which happens to also be true of the 610, is the size of the best-quality direct output jpegs ... 3 or 4 times the size of similar Sony and Canon models at their best quality settings. And this difference shows up when editing. It's more like editing a tiff than a jpeg.
One other special feature is that the pop-up flash acts as a master flash for Nikon speedlights. Not every maker's pop-up flash is enabled to handle the job of master flash, so this a plus.
Other likeable things are that the camera is a bit smaller than the 800 series, tiltable LCD screen, and decent high ISO quality. It has no really annoying defciencies. I can't think of a "worst feature". If I were to complain about anythig, I'd say Nikon should delete the "Scenes" mode and substitute more custom user channels instead.

I love this camera. I'm an amateur photographer and this is my first dip into full frame cameras and previously had other nikon crop cameras. Why did I buy an almost $2k camera? Because i want to perfect my shooting skills and grow into the camera. I can see myself keeping this for the next 5 years. Some of the features that drove me to buy this are: full frame dslr, 2 card slots, good sensor in low light, excellent grip, tilting screen, 24 megapixels which is not too large for space, downloading...etc. Auto focus is not bad. I looked at other cameras but this was the best fit for me and I recommend it. For detailed review just search on YouTube.

Look no further. This is a great camera if you're moving up to full frame for the first time. With that said, it is worth noting that the kit lens, while very versatile and fast, has a lot of heavy vignetting. If you get this camera, there's a good chance you're no stranger to Lightroom or Photoshop, and I would strongly recommend using the lens profile correction tool in post-processing. That, or look at a different starter lens. Aside from that, this is a great camera, and it's one I'm sure to use for years to come.

Nikon D750 & Nikkor 24-120

Upgraded from a D3200 and loving this camera/lens combo. Works very well in low light and I'm often shooting at ISO 10,000-12,800. Battery life is great, getting 1500-2,000+ plus shots when shooting continuous mode. Lens is sharp and enjoy both the wide angle and zoom. Body is also great with my 50mm 1.8G lens.

I've only had it for about 6 weeks but this camera has already accompanied me on 2 trips and it is great - easy to use, takes great pictures, great family camera or for a professional who needs something more than your everyday piece of equipment.

I had a Nikon D90 for years and it was a very good camera. I have always wanted an FX format camera, but the price was more than I wanted to pay. The D750 is the lower end of the Nikon FX format, the features were not too much less than the Nikon D810, but was quite a bit less expensive. I have taken it to a lot of outdoors photography and think it makes great pictures. The auto settings are very good, but the manual settings give you a great deal of flexibility.

The D750 still allows me to use the wireless commander that I had been used to, has WIFI connectivity, allows amazing videos to be filmed, still includes a pop-up flash so I don't always have to carry my speedlight, and the controls for me coming from a D80 are very intuitive. Not to mention the bigger screen, faster auto focus, improved dynamic range, brighter viewfinder & expanded ISO. This allows me to use auto ISO & not have to worry about noise. I can also use DX lenses on this camera & it automatically adjusts. Love, love , love.

Finally upgraded from my old D90, and could have either bought the newer DX body, or spend alot more money and get the full-frame, such as this, and wow, does full-frame make a huge difference. You can get so much more out of the same lenses, which I've since realized is even more crucial when working with prime lenses. My big reason for upgrading was that I wanted to improve low light performance, and this camera delivers.

This camera impresses me everyday! From the quick processing time, to it's surprising performance in low light situations, this camera blows other cameras in it's class away. I use this camera for professional photography and wedding cinematography, it works like a dream.

I do photography as a hobby only, and I am able to use all of the features with this camera with ease. It has many advanced features and manual settings as well. Just the right amount of technology, but still easy to use.

This is my second DSLR purchase (both Nikons) and probably my fifth Nikon. I compared this to the full frame Sony A7 and considered some mirrorless options but more than any other camera I tested, the link between capturing images and what I was thinking was just instantaneous. The combination of fast auto-focus, shutter release, ergonomics, sensor and image quality is hard to beat and was easily worth the investment. The range of Nikon lenses and accessories - including their relative affordability - makes this a no-brainer. Couldn't be happier!

Traded up from my D7100 to get this camera and I am not disappointed. I especially am falling in love with the 24-120 4G ED VR lens. The camera is great outdoors and also in low light situations.

My first choice was the Sony a7rII. Main reason being I want a (relatively) light full frame that I can lug around anywhere and everywhere. My photography style are mainly landscape and traveling. Hence I like to have the full frame capability, as well as the relatively low weight to fit my photography needs.
Alas, the low weight advantage of the a7rII becomes negligible when you put on a telephoto lens, and a telephoto lens is my main lens when I travel for my photo shoots. So, price becomes the next criteria when I decided which camera to buy, and the D750 beats the a7RII hands down.
Yes, the a7Rii has more pixel power, but that can only go so far as ones creativity. For me, given the tool I have on hand, whats next is how best I can use that tool to deliver the best photo I could take. Irrespective what camera you have on hand, there is no limit to how far your creativity can take you to take that best photo.

I loved my D7100 and this D750 camera has ALL the buttons in the same place for an EASY transition PLUS the ISO performance is stellar. The enhanced depth of field offered in this full frame camera over the APS-C sensor is SUPER! Don't know how I got along without it... Its sensor offers bokeh a.k.a. creamy backgrounds that get people excited to the point to where they'll say "Boy, your camera takes really nice pictures" ;)

Outstanding camera with the 24-120 F/4 lens. And bestbuy - you guys are amazing and convenient in price matching. Thank you so much :)
I have upgraded from my current D7000 and the moment I have cliked, simply stunned with the performance and ISO ranges this camera support.
Nikon should list his in Professional category rather than in Enthusiastic :)

I use this camera for professional photos and I have used it for personal. The shots are magnificent. It is heavy but much easier to use than my D5300. I can change my speeds quickly. It can be pitch dark and the pictures turn out beautiful. I love this camera.

Fantastic (long overdue) upgrade from my D70. It was an even easier decision to move to full frame since I had previously invested in FX lenses. The build quality, capabilities and picture quality are all first rate. I have large hands and the camera body fits well, given the deep handle. Very pleased with Nikon and Best Buy!
