This camera was definitely the upgrade to a Full Frame that I was looking for! I was originally considering the D810 but found this one to feel better in my hands and just meet might needs just as well. Not to mention it's cheaper! If you're a Nikon user you'll enjoy this camera! Don't do much video on it but seems decent. Hope this helps!

This is no beginner camera but it’s a great buy for someone serious about photography. This strikes the right balance between a quality camera and a good price.

I recently upgraded from a d3200 and I absolutely love this camera. The big jump from crop sensor to full frame finally happened and I'm glad I chose the d750.

Recently bought the Nikon D750 as an upgrade from the Nikon 5300. So far it’s a great camera, a lot more to learn. Looking forward to taking lots of photos!

    Perfect upgrade from the D7000

I am upgrading from the D7000, and this is the perfect choice. The obvious reason for buying this camera is the full frame sensor, but what I really like is that the body is only a littler larger than the D7000. I know some people think more, bigger hardware makes for a more professional appearance, but one of the main reasons it took me so long in life to get into DSLR cameras is the sheer bulk of the hardware. The D750 is the smallest of Nikon's full frame cameras, and I like that. Aside from that, the camera operates much like my D7000, which is nice because it was a very easy transition, I didn't have to spend weeks learning to use the camera. Of course, there are many additional features, some I will use, many I will not. The fact is, most modern higher-end DSLRs have feature-itis, and I suppose some people like that. At the end of the day, this camera does everything I want and so much more, but above all it takes fantastic photographs. I can see the superior low-light capabilities of the full frame sensor in my images, and that is ultimately why I made the leap from the D7000. This is a great camera.

It is better than the Nikon 5500 I bought a year ago. The pictures are amazing right out of the camera. No adjustments needed.

… if you're not expecting D850 features and capabilities for D750 price. Any previous Nikon user will be at home with the controls in minutes after picking up the camera. Nice deep hand grip. Quiet, relatively speaking, shutter, buttery smooth tones, great dynamic range and decent battery life if you're not reviewing every image you take on the spot. For me it focuses on my desired subject through gaps in railings and tree branches surprisingly well. The only feature I wish it has is the little joystick at the back of my D500 cameras. Once you've used one you easily notice its absence. I added the battery grip and now it is about as good as it gets for a full frame DSLR at an attainable price. A lot to learn with this camera but you can always start in Program mode and build on those experiences. Avoid cheap glass, if possible, on a good camera such as this or you'll never see the quality you paid for.

This is my 5th Nikon 750 in 1 year. I've had 3 that quit working in the middle of shoot. At times you can take the battery out and insert it to fix the problem, other times it just stops firing and there isn't anything you can do. I've had this happen in 3 cameras that were lemoned out before the first 6 months. But other than that, the picture quality, shutter speed, low ISO, and amazing ability to capture candid moments quickly--AWESOME! I'm a pro wedding photographer as well as take pro headshots for seniors, models, business pros and do family photography. I just hope when Nikon comes out with something different it doesn't have this glitch!
