This camera is fairly complex (although it does offer a "point & shoot" option that works great). But, instead, spend some time customizing its extensive menus to get what you want. And test your choices out. Once you do so, it will really, really allow you to make photos the way you hope they will look. Excellent! And the lens? Wow!!! Perhaps mine is exceptional, but this thing is fantastic. I stayed away from the 18-200 and 18-300 and 18-one-million options, and went with the simple old 140mm in hopes of retaining sharpness and usability. I am so glad I did. My lens is seriously sharp wide open at 140mm. Let me repeat that...my lens is seriously sharp wide open at 140mm. Bokeh is really good too. I'd buy this again in a second.

We bought this camera to take with us traveling from Texas to Las Vegas. This camera does not disappoint with great features.

Has a ton of features that a newbie here needs to learn , but little by little becoming familiar with features .

Camera works really well. Only down side is the lighting is difficult to get down. Requires you to constantly change the ISO. The Auto ISO isn’t the greatest, so it leaves you with doing it manually. Overall great quality.

Camera has worked beautifully, but I had no idea that I was buying from a third party dealer and not Best Buy. Camera took a week and a half longer to arrive than originally stated and for several days had zero tracking information on it once it was in transit.

My husband has had nikon cameras for 50 years. i bought him this one for Christmas, and as usual he loves it so much. Excellent quality at a good price. 5 stars for sure.

I love the easy way how to play this camera. Beginners are able to use it . Photos are automatically transfer to iPhone very fast and smoothly.
