I bought this package primarily to photograph auto racing and it does a spectacular job. Users will benefit greatly from reading the user manual and speaking with experienced photographers, to really learn what this camera will do and how to use the controls. This camera and the accessories included in the package provide the user with all of the basic tools they need for a wide variety of situations. I highly recommend this package.

As with almost everything, you will probably need to invest some time in YouTube (I’m not a pro, nor a noob). Great for low light, not the best for video. Buy plenty of ads cards. Good, solid feel. Tons of lens options. You would do well with this camera if you want to advance your skills. A little over kill if your trying to do vacations

I am a beginner photographer and I wanted a good camera to get me started. This camera uses a high end CMOS sensor and takes great quality photographs, even in low light situations. The two lenses it comes with work very well and have a quality feel. So far, I am very happy with this camera and am still learning all it's features because it has so many!

Ease of use has greatly increased my ability to take good pictures. Multitude of controls to get excellent results in any lighting conditions. Both lenses work under all conditions. My 6 year old can take pictures using point an shoot options.

Have used the Nikon D 7000 for about 6 years. It takes fantastic pics with little effort by the user. The D7500 is a great step up at a super price for the two lens bundle ... plus free camera bag.

Easy camera using basic functionality but many advanced features. Out of the box and was quickly taking good photos but with the many advanced features you need to devote time to reviewing manual and registering with Nikon there are many hints sent via e-mail.

    Nikon fanboy

I'll say this from the beginning; I'm a long time Nikon fanboy. I once did a lot of semi-professional shooting - that is to say I didn't make enough money to live on but I did make money. I was using a Nikon F4S 35mm and a Nikon D100. This was back when digital was still fairly new. Eventually life took me in other directions and my cameras ended up in my stepsons hands. Now I am getting back into photography and using the D7500. This is a major upgrade from the D100 and a bit of learning curve. The optics are amazing with the two lens in the set. Going by my past experience I would consider this as a good entry level professional camera. It is doing amazing things already but, the fanboy talking, I've learned to expect amazing things from Nikon.

I debated between this camera and the d750. I ultimately choose the d7500 because my kids play sports and this camera does amazing with sports pictures. I also love the built in WiFi and Bluetooth. You can not go wrong with this camera!

Excellent camera. Keep in mind it’s a crop sensor camera and not full frame. But if you do the math conversions when buying lenses that’s not a problem. Lenses that come with are not “top of the line” but are VR and will be more then enough for the average amateur photographer. Easy to use layout and menu. If you’re new to this level of DSLR photography it would be worth taking an online class in the basics. You can find these all day long for 10 bucks or so. Would definitely recommend for a great affordable camera to step up your game.

This is a really great camera. I decided to upgrade from a Nikon D5000 that I've had for years. I really hadn't used the D5000 that much, but I decided tor retire this year and wanted to get back into photography. I'm a rank amateur for sure and probably don't need this much camera, but I wanted to make sure I wouldn't be looking to upgrade again anytime soon. I'm still learning about all the features this camera has but it fills my needs perfectly. And then some. The combo kit I purchased has two lenses that are a great start. I don't believe you'll regret buying this camera.

I had the Nikon D5000 for 10 years until it finally died so I decided to get another camera similar to that one. This camera's Bluetooth feature is great...I can send photos straight to the app on my phone to share. I love that the shutter speed is twice as fast on the new camera. The lenses are also a lot smaller/lighter than on my old camera. It's taking me a little bit to get used to the settings being located in different places, but other than that... I love it so far. Hope it lasts 10 years like my last one did.
