I've used 3rd party grips and Nikon grips for various Nikon cameras in the past. This grip for the D750 is typical Nikon. It fits perfectly and works exactly the way you expect. It's much more expensive than a 3rd party grip but you can get a good discount if you are patient.

I thought I needed this item but it turns out I just really wanted it. It does offer another angle for gripping but that's about it. It adds a lot of additional weight and not really any more convenience.
