This makes all the difference with uptown 9fps when shooting those 46 mp files. Don't think twice about getting it. It makes all the difference with sports, birds, insects other moving subjects not to say it also provides the extra batter power for longer shooting times. A must!

This grip is a great addition to my D850. With the EN-EL18b battery, I get 9 frames/sec and lots of pictures per charge. It’s built like a tank and fits great on the camera. It is a little pricey, though.

This battery pack works flawlessly with the camera. It adds significant battery life use. It’s designed to use both a Nikon battery as well as over the counter batteries. The frames per second speed is actually increased with the use of this product. The only negative thing I have to say is that I think it is expensive. However, Nikon is not known for being cheap.

Perfect fit, performs as designed. No wobble when using it as a vertical grip. Good value for the price. Don't be tempted by a $50 third-party grip. It's not worth the risk of needing special tools to remove the thing from your $3300 camera.

Extra battery life is invaluable when in the field. Provides a good grip for vertical shooting.

Even though this adds bulk to the overall camera, the extended battery life outweighs this. In addition, having all the shooting controls available when shooting vertically makes this worthwhile. The cheap knock-offs do not have this feature. Only negative is the steep price, otherwise a 5-star product.

First of all, I'm 6'3"tall and over 200 pounds so the additional weight of a Nikon - MB-D18 Battery Grip to my DSLR camera with a 70-200mm lens doesn't bother me as much as it does other people who complain about the weight. I recommend a good Black Rapid Camera Strap if you are going to be lugging it around for a long time.

I love Nikon grips! The finish and fit are second to none. I know people who have used 3rd party grips and they just dont fit right, have play in the fit and have functional issues with reading battery percentage and stuff. They are expensive for what they are, but worth it!

For me, this is a must have item. Gripped cameras are better balanced and Nikon grips have all the necessary controls for vertical shooting.

I ave used other grips for the Nikon cameras in the past and they would work for a while and either malfunction or cause the camera to malfunction. The MB-D18 fits perfectly and gives the camera an added edge. When I shoot vertical images, it is the best way to hold the camera an get the shot comfortably. I love the added speed to the camera!

What’s not to like when you get an accessory included in the purchase of a D850? It’s easy to install, use. It comes with a double A sleeve if you don’t want to purchase another rechargeable. Note, the rechargeable battery itself isn’t included.

It completes me.... it belongs with D850 ....So happy it was love! My camera became faster in every way I mean the power is in sane intuitive you just know there’s nothing you cannot do with this camera you are ready.

You can never have enough battery or memory. This battery is ideally designed to allow for extended use and grip allows for comfort of use.

I purchased this hoping to extend the battery life of a newly acquired Nikon D850. The gris fits perfectly and provides much longer battery life. It is an excellent addition to anyone's camera.

The grip is a must have item. The extra power and convenience for shooting vertical shoots are just 2 of the reasons that I would not be without this item

Not only does this battery grip hold an extra battery for my Nikon D850 but it also increases the speed from 7 frames per second to 9 frames per second
