For taking group picture this is a must so I can be in the picture.

Bought another brand in an attempt to save money. This was recommended by a photographer, so after struggling with the other, I bought this one. SO much better. You get what you pay for. Go Nikon!

I bought this for my wife for Christmas. This remote works well and she has no complaints. She has a Nikon D7000 that she uses with the remote. This summer she wants to use it to capture pictures of our humming birds.

I purchased the Nikon ML-L3 because I wanted to use it for night time photos where the need to open the shutter for a lengthy time nessesitates not moving the the camera while pushing the shutter release button on the camera. It works wonderfully! I'm using it with my Nikon D5300. It can also be used in "Bulb" mode where you press it once to open the shutter, then again to close it, which was great for fireworks! It works from in front of, and behind the camera, and is simpler (and less battery consuming) than using WiFi and my smartphone to control it. Would definitely buy it again.

remote works great with my d3200, just but it on the 2sec remote or silent shutter setting and bam it does the job. i did try using it inside of its case but it only worked half the time but still works perfect outside the case

Purchased this to use for landscape photography. Small amount of lag compared to a wired remote. Good if you just take occasional pics with a remote. Nice and small so it's easy to lose in your camera bag.

Just what i wanted for my dslr, quick & responsive.

This remote shutter release works very well if you are in front of the camera. However, it works with infrared, so it must be pointed at the front of the camera. If you want to be behind the camera to take a long exposure, e.g., this will not work

Perfect for Nikon D 5300, easy set up. My only concern is the range of the remote. If I try to hide the remote without making it obvious, it takes few attempts to click. I would recommend this product with reservations.
