Useful remote for challenging photos

Allows vibration-free tripod shots. More convenient and customizable than self-timer. Price was higher than third-party imitations but compatibility was more certain.

I have used the immediate-release and 2-second-release modes and it worked superbly with both.

Essential item for serious photographers

It allows me to take photos without touching the camera once I've set my exposures. With my camera set to bracket shots I can take multiple photos and ensure my images are sharp without any vibration from touching the camera. This is great for long exposures for night photography or long exposure daytime shots.

Fun accessory

The only thing I've found that I don't like is that it disconnects after a few seconds of non use and you have to start over. Setting it up from scratch. But, that being said...I love using it.
