This remote permits the photographer to be included in the photo without setting the timer and having to race back into position for the shots.

I got this because so many times am I taking pictures and not in the picture. This way I can insure I'm in atleast some and don't have to use a self timer then run behind the camera. The only thing I dislike is the difficulty level I had trying to take back off to see battery, I chipped my nail polish and nail in the process. Other than that it works great and easy to use!

This remote is perfect for what I need it for. Long exposure without having to touch the camera, self portraits and more.

I bought this thinking it was a nice gadget to use with my camera. I use it more than I ever thought I would. It's easy to set up and use. It is small so you have to store it carefully so you don't lose it. I like taking group pictures. I have even used it to set up natural shots, taking the picture from a distance. With your imagination, this gadget comes in very handy.

Works really well with my Nikon 7100. Very basic and no frills

This is genuine accessory for Nikon DSLR cameras. I use this with D3300 and have used it previously with D40 as well. It does one thing only (take pictures) and it does it 100% of the time reliably. Don't buy this from ebay or other places as you may end up with a fake.

This Nikon remote works very nicely with my d3200. It's very compact and easy to carry.

I like the remote, works well with D7100. I wish it would work from the front of the camera so it could be used in place of a self timer, but maybe I am missing something in the setup. I like having the ability to put the camera on the tripod and take pics with slow shutter speed without having to depress the shutter button, really gives you much clearer pics, especially macros.

i just came back from my honeymoon i wish i would of had a tripod however it works great and was able to take lots of photos with my wife

Photography can be tricky, meaning setting up that perfect shot is tough. With this wireless remote you can stand back and take your picture without touching the camera and risk slightly moving it and messing up your shot. Super easy to setup and well worth the price!

Love this remote. If you need to be in the picture or just set the camera up and click the picture of the kids when ready. This little things works great

Bought the remote, brought it home, turned the shutter setting to remote and it worked like a charm! It seems to have to be in-line with the camera to work, so you have to point it, press the button, and then hide the remote so you're not seen holding it in the picture, but it's worked great for me so far!

There is a learning curve to find out the right direction to aim it at the camera, specially if you are not that close. Otherwise , worthy of the price you pay for it.

It works great for what I need it for! I wanted to be able to take group pictures with me in it. Now I just set the camera and hop in and snap :-)

I couldn't figure out how to get this to work at first with the directions. Looked online and how to get to it in my camera settings. Easy, simple and small.

This product works great with my Nikon dslr model D3400. I would recommend this product for sharper and more stable pics.

This works exactly as advertised. Just check with the Nikon website to be sure that this model is compatible with your Nikon body. I have 3rd party IR remotes that generally work just as well for a lower price or is bundled with other accessories. But there's always a little bit of doubt with these 3rd party versions.

Set the camera up on a tripod, get everything focused and ready, go stand with your family or group and snap a picture with you in it.
