How could they mess it up? After figuring out how to use the remote (use the camera manual but it's the mode button) it works great.

Great attachmment for my D-7200. IR Beam works from both sides. Great value if you don't need the fancy long distance remotes.

Though they could make this product better by adding a timer, bluetooth or wifi to hide it in the scene

I really contemplated buying this. Reason being is because you can download the app on your phone and take pictures using the apps. However, if you want to be in the picture, do you really want to be holding a clunky phone? Why not use a remote that can be discreetly hidden in your hand? It works great with my camera.

Works seamlessly with my D3300 DSLR. Great for taking family portraits when camera is on a tripod. Recently used inside to capture photos of our wedding cake, our outdoor wedding photos so all could be include and the remote is small enough to hide without being noticed in the photos

I bought this to replace the one I lost, but then found the one I lost. so now I have two of them.

I bought a more expensive shutter release and returned it for this one. Used it to take family photos and the range was great. With the two second delay I was able to release the shutter and pose for every picture. Definitely worth it and didn't need anything more expensive.

This was purchased to take pictures at night with a long aperture so I would not shake the camera

This remote works well for a line of site remote. Any obstacles will interrupt the signal and it will not trigger.

The only downside is you have to be in front of the camera and at the right angle to get it to work.

The remote works good but you do have to change settings in the camera in order for it to work correctly.
