We live in a urban high rise overlooking the lake. These glasses are light, durable and amazingly crystal clear vision. The casing on the lenses makes you stop worrying about dropping them.

Clear and bright view. Fairly lightweight. Reasonable price considering what you are getting. Overall a great deal and high quality.

Excellent bird watching binoculars!!! I researched this purchase relentlessly for months only to have them out of stock when I finally decided to purchase them - which sadly meant I did NOT get to enjoy the beautiful hummingbirds this season :( However I have spent hours examining spiders make their webs and birds nestle down and squirrels taunt my dog with such clarity, such beauty that I cannot express enough through words. A must see for yourself. WORTH EVERY PENNY and I really didn't want to spend that much!

Excellent purchase gift for husband bi like them so well I will be purchasing a second pair for myself. They were recommended to us by our daughter who is an excellent birder and good for people who wear glasses. She uses a similar pair for her job. Excellent quality for the price.

Got these as a Birthday/Christmas present for myself! A huge upgrade from my old Bushnells!! Not just great for looking at birds in the open, but the 1st time I looked in to a wooded area, I spotted an owl, which I would’ve never seen on the old Bono’s! Sights are crisp and clear!! Quite happy with these!! Only negative is the eye up covers, but oh well doesn’t take away from the sightings you look at!!

These are great - very high quality without breaking the bank! Lightweight for the size. Could use a better case though

The binoculars were a gift for my adult daughter. Specifically, she wanted them for viewing the birds and small animals in her backyard. She, also, used them when we visited Cypress Gardens in South Carolina. My daughter is pleased with the magnification and clarity of the the binoculars. This product is excellent for the average birder. You can't beat the price-to-quality ratio. I have been very pleased; although at first I was taken aback by the movement issues. When I learned how to pull out the eye cap a notch, the movement issues went away.

Excellent bird watching binoculars. A definite step way up in quality over inexpensive brands. This unit is solid in construction, has an extremely clear field of view, easy adjustment and a good gripping surface. a better case for this price would be an improvement.

I have no idea about what to look for when is comes to binoculars. These are just for bird watching from my living room. Easy to use and light. Pretty good magnification and colors. Decent for the casual user

Quality craftsmanship; sturdy and solidly built. The view is just what you'd expect: crystal clear and close as promised. The case and accessories are very well made also. I didn't know what to expect, and yet I got more than I expected. Would absolutely recommend.

I was ready to upgrade my basic binoculars and did some research online to narrow the field. I ultimately choose the Monarch 5 8x42 and I was so surprised by the quality the first time I used them. These are amazing and worth the price if you are looking to upgrade. So many great features and qualities about them to list

I bought a cheap pair of binoculars in Ketchikan, Alaska and regretted from then until now that I didn’t get the Nikon Monarch I just bought! Imagine traveling in Alaska with cheesy binox! My sister has had a pair of Nikons for years and has urged me to go for the gusto; so I donated my other pair and ordered these. I COULDN’T BE HAPPIER!! Now I just have to get back to Alaska!!

Well made. The image is very clear and sharp. It is the best affordable entry level binoculars for professional bird watchers. Bought this as a Christmas gift for my 8 years old son who is studying ornithology now. He likes it sooo much!
