Tested out on a birthday party indoor with dark enviroment and this lens never failed!! Its fast focused really impressed me and in those low light conditions it blew my mind. I have many other lenses but I feel this one will stay on my Z8 for a very long time!

WOW!!! Bet 35mm lens ever!! I say that as a professional photographer with decades of experience going back to the film days! The brightness and incredible and the ability to AF in dark environments is incredible. The photos are SHARP with no vignetting, and the Bokeh is gorgeous!! It's heavy, but it's expensive, so if you're a hobbyist, you will save a lot of money buying the Nikon 35 1.4 or 1.8 35mm. The 1.8 is a S model so it's better than the 1.4 non-S lens.

Extraordinary lens. You could argue it's not much different than the f/1.4 version, but there is a smoothness to the background wide open that is wonderful., Sharp throughout.
