I purchased this flash as a supplement to my DSLR small flash. I enjoy ease of the program capability of it. There are many features that I haven't used as of yet, but if you are looking for a flash that you don't have to think about how to use with your Nikon DSLR, this is a great entry flash.

I got this flash on the advice of a professional photographer friend, and his advice as spot on. This has opened up my photography, just the ability to bounce the flash and get rid of the dreaded red eye has helped me a lot, and the ability to slave other flashes will help me as progress

This was a replacement for a previous speedlight that finally stopped working. This speedlight offers Master and Remote capabilities, good power, relatively fast recharge, and quick access to most functions. I pair this with Yongnuo flashes and Yongnuo triggers to allow for multiple off-flash setups. I consider this the least expensive Nikon branded full-featured speedlight for their DSLRs with a hotshoe.

I bought this flash right before Christmas and I'm glad I did . The flash on my camera broke so I needed something that was easy to attach and easy to use. I love how I can aim it and change the position with just pushing the side buttons. The sales guy was very helpful and showed me how to use it and what different things meant .

nikon products are at par with other five star products, its a little bit cheaper compared to other high end brands but the quality is no difference with the other known brands. this external flash is a must have accessory to any photography enthusiast like my son and it brings more good effect on pictures or videos taken.

Great upgrade for my D750. Previously was using a cheap $80 flash. Photos look great, flash is very versatile and easy to adjust. I’m mainly using this for point and shoot without having to do more than adjust the direction of the flash itself. Results have been excellent.

This has been a wonderful addition to my picture taking, as the installed pop-up camera flash unit was simply not doing the job required for an acceptable photograph. This flash unit is everything Nikon claims it to be, one very strong and useful unit and has already helped in making many very fine photographs for me. It is a bit more complicated to operate however, but expect ease of use will come in time. This unit has many more options than I see me ever using, but very happy with having too many options rather than not enough. VERY nice flash unit overall.

I was needing to take photos for a friends wedding and I bought this flash to make the photos more natural. I was working with a church that had white light however the photos on my Nikon were yellow, so this flash solved all my issues. The pics turned out great! Also it was easy to use which is always a plus.

I got this product to replace my SB-600 and I enjoy the features much better I with the SB-700. Like the SB-600, but with more feautres. I especially like the ability for using creative lighting system which enables me to create more unique lighting situations. Overall, the speed light is easy to learn.

This flash is a must have for shooting indoor as it makes a tremendous difference in photo quality. Powered by 4x heavy AA batteries, this makes your camera very top heavy. The locking switch is fairly cheap and does not give the sense of security I would want. The on screen controls are very well, however the buttons are on the lower end of quality I was expecting out of nikon. Moving the flash up and down requires a side button to be pressed and it can be difficult at times adjusting it. The deflector that slides in the top above the flash is complete garbage and is extremely flimsy. I am afraid to slide it in and out as it might be completely ripped out by accident. I recommend this over any aftermaket flashes that promise the same flash power for a 3rd of the cost as this one actually is designed to work with nikon cameras.

Love this guy. Can’t remember exactly what we’d bought it for, but it’s still around and lights shots beautifully. We put a magmod on it as well and the stuff you can do is fantastic. Fast response time and batteries last a long time.

I’m loving my new accessory so far! Definitely worth paying a little more to get the added features of this external flash. I mostly take photos of my Dog, wildlife, and outdoor scenery. This has definitely helped with the photos of our dog. It was a very easy set up too.
