I am relatively new to photography and this speedlight makes an excellent to my gear. I chose this model because it was a mid level choice and all of my research made me think that this was the best choice. Also, it works great wirelessly with my D5100 straight out of the box.

Great flast that makes my Nikon D-5100 complete. The versatility of the flash makes flash photos 100% better and raised my overall satisfaction with the camera greatly. The colors obtained when using this flash are greatly improved.

I have been researching the SB700 for about two years and finally picked one up. It is exactly the Flash it is advertised as. It does a flawless job in lighting what I need at the correct intensity. Straight out of the box it was awesome. I'm learning more features everyday.

In the past I have owned the Nikon SB800 and SB900 series units and loved them. However, I almost never needed the full power of those units and this time decided to buy the SB-700 for my D750. They are a perfect match and the speedlight produces plenty of lighting for direct, indirect and bounce lighting situations.

This is the second one I have purchased. The first was a gift and so well received that I bought one for myself. My pictures are greatly improved by the ability to bounce the flash toward the subject and not use direct lighting. Still have lots to learn but I love it!!

I wanted to upgrade from the standard flash to improve my photos. This was an excellent choice for the price. It included everything you need for a variety of projects.

my brother bought me one and it worked very well. I decided to buy 2 more so that I could work the nikon creative light system. Read the manuals, also look at YouTube videos, there's some minor steps missing, I suspect due to translation.

This flash replaced my SB-800, which I used for over 10 years. It has been reliable, has amazing battery life, over 700 flashes with Eneloop Pro rechargeables, and the TTL is extremely accurate. This is my go-to flash when photographing a wedding. I have complete confidence in this, and I have 2 of them.

This is a great addition to my Nikon camera. This flash allows you to take those professional style photos for either your family or friends. It works great with the camera to know what amount of light is needed. It slow has the ability for you to adjust it to any light conditions to let you get amazing photos.

Nikon -Sb-700 works well with my Nikon D7200. The quality is good and seems to be a good flash for the beginner to intermediate photographer.

I love this speed light. I had one a while back, but it broke, so I was thrilled when I was finally able to purchase a new one. I have used it basically every day! I missed having more professional looking snaps at home, and I was able to shoot a wedding too!

Purchased this for some small item photo shoot. It works well and covers a good area. The only problem I have is with remote operation, it is a bit unstable as it works occasionally. I have to power off and back on again to get it to work. Not a big deal but when it happens, it's a bit frustrating. The built-in diffuser is handy and useful. I like the carrying pouch that it comes with, while I have all my gear in one bag, it's a good backup and alternative for the flash.

I love it and would recommend to friends family and anybody seeking a flash I also enjoy nikon products all around. I would like a little more instructions though cause the book is not dummie proof and what's I need cause a lot of little words confuse me

This is an excellent flash for the money. I use it with my Nikon DSLR. I have SB-600 also and with sb 700 I must say the buttons and user interface is way better. I love it. Only thing I see that these do go through battery quickly compared to my sb 600.

After reviewing this flash on you tube. It was clearly the choice for me, a beginning photographer... Take advantage of several free online tutorials to help you maximize this flash' scull potential

I waited for much to long to finally purchase this flash to supplement my Nikon camera equipment. When I think back now to photos that were too dark, I am very frustrated in the realization that this flash would have prevented that. An excellent supplement at an amazing price.

I've the D750 and I got this flash to go hand in hand with my camera. It is amazing and lasts longer than I thought it would with needing batteries. I've taken a lot of sample pictures to get used to it and learn it and I am far from disappointed. It's really good.

I'm still learning my new Nikon D5500 along with all the extras that I bought with it. This looks to be super easy to use.....I just don't know how to use my new camera that well yet.....everything changed from my Nikon D5000 to the D5500. Super excited to play with everything though.
