This is probably not a necessary item for some folks. For us we like the convenience of transferring photos via wifi. We also like the smartphone synch up. It takes a little getting used to, but it isn't difficult. We decided this with the D3300 was the way to go vs. the more expensive 5500. There is also has a well designed case for the adapter that attaches to the camera strap.

This adapter makes it real simple to share photos stored on my Nikon DSLR iPhone. I can easily and quickly send photos to another cell phone right away

This is a cool add on to my nikon but the connection can be spotty at times.

I love being able to download my pictures to Facebook as soon as the event occurs. I'm able to share my pictures with family that aren't able to be present during the event.

This is the best thing for taking photos remotely. It is so easy to use and you can down load the app to see live video on your phone before you take the picture.

Exactly what I wanted. Great that it comes with a little case to attach to camera strap so its always there. Takes only seconds to upload a picture to my phone for sharing.

This thing works great! I'm too poor to get acamera with built in wi-fi so, this adapter is rad. It came free with my bundle....even better!! It is super easy to use.

Wireless adapter works great with my iphone, not so good with my ipad.

It does what it supposed to do. But way overpriced for the size of it.

Great thing to have if you own a DSLR. I use it all the time to post to social media, without having to transfer photos to a computer and then to a phone. Love it!

Not a hassle to set up and use with your phone! It definitely beats having to take off the memory card and inserting it into your computer to see the pictures.
