Absolutely love this camera. Absolute workhorse. Fantastic in low light, great auto focus. Nikon mirrorless is my favorite system I've used (Comparing against Sony and Fuji)

After owning a D750 and trying out the Z5 I have to say I’m impressed with the Z6II. All the new mirrorless features are great! Silent shooting and 4K video in one small and lightweight package! I really like that the camera can be powered and charged by the enclosed usb cord! Dual memory slots are nice and the face/eye tracking is definitely improved over the previous model. Very glad Nikon updated the Z6 to the Z6II. Love the Nikon ergonomics!

I am so in love with this camera! I plan to buy a second one as a back up soon! The only issue I have had with it is that when you film with a high shutter it tends to have a streak across the video but it’s easily fixed with some setting adjustments. You just have to keep an eye on it. I think it’s only because it’s mirrorless. I filmed a wedding with a fellow videographer who shot with a Sony mirrorless and the same thing happened to her. Her camera over heated during the ceremony on a 110 degree day. The Nikon did not. So there’s that also.

I LOVE this camera, GREAT upgrade from the D7500. I got the FTZ adapter and I can use the lenses I already have. I will be purchasing a second one soon to have as a back up as well as when I need a 2 camera set up. I love being able to adjust settings (ISO, Shutter Speed, White Balance) while looking through the viewfinder and literally be able to see what the image is going to look like as I adjust. WOW I have not found anything that I dislike.

Don't believe the bloggers, use one for yourself. I have owned Nikon digital all the way back to the D100>D2Hs>D300s>D700>D610>D750>Z5 and now this. For a mostly stills shooter who does weddings and portraits, but also some freelance journalism this is by far my favorite camera I have ever owned. Paired with S lines lenses the resulting are nothing short of stunning.

I finally decided to upgrade and go mirrorless after using the humble Nikon D80 for the better part of a decade; not exactly a small improvement. The Z 6ii is amazing—the lenses, the speed, the features; it really checks all the boxes for top tier quality. It was a toss up for me between this camera, the D850, and the Z 7ii. The D850 is probably the king, but I prefer mirrorless, the Z lenses are killer, I shoot very little video, and I don't need massive 45+ MP images (honestly they just eat up storage, and 24+ MP on the Z6ii is more than adequate for my needs.) SO, rather than pay $3k+ for one of the two top-tier camera bodies (D850/Z7ii), I opted for the not-exactly-cheap-either Z6ii at $2k, and put the difference toward a couple lenses. Since there really aren't 'deals' on Nikon cameras, do yourself a favor and skip the online dealers like Amazon and eBay where you might wind up with a missing delivery or a gray market camera, and purchase through a well-known physical store instead.

Great camera for a 45 year Nikon user. (Yes since the F days) It’s a mirror less camera in its infancy for Nikon but what better camera for a long time Nikon user. Had the first Z6 but liked the dual card slots of this camera. Can’t quantify or qualify it but focusing seems slightly faster and accurate. Ergonomically fits my hand and EVF is easy to use. Photos look very pleasing with the “Nikon colors”. Robust build quality too.

Great quality camera. Very good addition as second body to z7II. If you can afford, buy 2.8 lenses and not the ones in kits. Don’t forget spare battery

I did a lot of research before I bought the Z6 II and so far it is a great camera! I also bought the Nikon Z 24-200 Telephoto lens and this combo was perfect for my trip to Japan a week after I bought the system. The Z6 II replaced my 6 year old Nikon D5600 and the Z6 II has exceeded all expectations. I would definitely recommend this camera for anyone with intermediate photography skills who want to move from DSLR APS-C to Mirrorless Full Frame format.
