Great camera. Huge update to my Nikon D70 which still takes great shots. The images with little effort, have a great magazine look. The camera does seem to perform better in well lit environments. The kits lens 24-70mm S f/4 is nice. Good clarity and detail. Easily useable for hobbyists or professionals. Not a cheap hobby but very enjoyable with excellent creative results. Still getting to know all the features so my impressions are still at an early stage.

This is an awesome Camera, especially in lower light situations. I have been away from the photography scene for about 20 years, the advancements are amazing, and simple. I just purchased the Z 70-180mm, this is a great lens. Withe the 24-70 f/4 and the 70mm-180f/2, I feel I have all the bases covered. Thanks Nikon and Best Buy, Don S.

The image quality for photos and videos is outstanding. I am selling all my extensive F-mount equipment. Operation is easy and similar enough to my D800 so it was easy to transition. The FTX mount with AF-P 70-300mm zoom worked flawlessly, very sharp and the VR when photographing birds from boat was amazing. Setting up bluetooth to phone and wireless connections to computer is the least optimized part of set-up but once connected is really handy.

This was a bit of an impulse buy and while waiting for delivery I suffered from buyers remorse. After initial shots taken around the house (contracted covid the day after it arrived) I am in love! This camera is comfortable in my hand, the menus are familiar and easy to use. The “kit” lens is sharp. I can’t wait to put it through it’s paces!

Great camera, a vast improvement over the original Z 6. Auto Focus is fast and reliable. Bud quality is solid. If only the LCD screen had more angles to move and tilt but thats a very subjective criticism, YMMV depending on how you take pictures. Color science and image quality can’t be best, Nikon images are some of the best in the industry

It took me a bit of a learning curve after shooting with DSLRs. Focus system is so different from my D5 and D500 but overall performance is terrific. Low light performance is outstanding and yes, you can shoot sports with it. I am currently shooting a lot of hockey with this camera, an FTZ adapter and the Nikon 70-200mm F2.8. Most third party lenses work fine but I had to get two firmware consoles for updating a Tamron and a Sigma. Battery life is better than advertised.

It was time to say good bye to my old D300S, and I got the Z6II with the 24-70mm bundle. First don’t get intimidated by the 800 plus pages manual. The camera is very easy to set up and take pictures. Is almost impossible to take a bad picture with this camera, it doesn’t matter in what setting you have it, the autofocus is always perfect. Installing the SnapBridge on my phone was very easy and quick, also is very cool and practical as a remote, taking pictures or downloading pictures. I got a old Sigma 170-500mm 1.5-6.3 APO DG lens that works perfectly with the FTZ adapter (thanks God!).

Not a paid/sponsored review. I love the Z6II with 24-200mm f4-6.3 VR lens Nikon provided its vendors while working at Best Buy, After CES 23 in Tucson I finally went and purchased my own, exact same setup with the kit 24-70 f4 lens

My last digital camera was the Nikon D800 and that served me well for years. I loved that camera but the weight of it together with a grip and f2.8 lenses made me resent having to lug it around at times. The z6ii has become a much lighter and welcomed relief. With a 24-70 f4 kit lens, it’s perfect for me. BTW just because the 24-70 is called a “kit lens,” don’t sell it short. It’s a more than capable, carry around lens. The RAW files this camera produces are impressive; great Nikon color, nice dynamic range, lots of latitude to adjust if needed, and clean at high ISO. Together with the FTZ lens adapter, this camera extended the life of my F lenses.

I upgraded from a DSLR. There is a small learning curve, but the photos taken from the Z6ii are outstanding. I like how the camera handles and like the placement of many of the buttons.

Total photography newbie but loving the Nikon Z6 II! Read all the reviews and was ready to buy the Z6 when the Z6 II came out! Could not be happier - lots of Nikon support to show me how to use it and grow with it! Still have a tone to learn but I would say don’t hesitate to buy this camera if you are a beginner!

I bought this camera bundle as I wanted to get back into photography. I was discouraged in the past because I couldn’t afford the pricier, pro-line cameras, and I finally was able to jump up to this one. To say it is amazing is an understatement. This camera just works and the new updates in firmware make it that much better. I’ve been exploring more and more with it. But 10/10 would recommend for a person looking to jump into mirrorless
