Very impressed with the Z9... it is all it is advertised to be and more. Coming from using a D800 for 10 years, there is a big difference. Right now, I am using the Z9 with an FTZii adapter with my "G" lenses, so there is not much of a weight difference compared to the D800, even when using the D800 without a grip. I have only been shooting with the camera around the house at this point, trying to setup the shooting menus to what I shoot and my style of shooting, and seeing what the results are and changing as needed. Is this a great camera... yes it is, and I am happy I decided to purchase one.

Just beginning to put it through it's paces but the initial feel of this camera is amazing. The camera is heavy but I can't wait to get a long lens balanced against it. The auto focus is snappy and seems to be spot on. This could definitely be the next generation in the age of Nikon's mirrorless

The autofocus is superior to my D6 in terms of capturing moving subjects. The camera is lighter and outperforms the D6 with higher fps. The z9 was backordered so it was worth the wait.

The 8K video recording capability of the Nikon Z9 is nothing short of extraordinary. The level of detail and clarity it captures is mind-blowing, providing filmmakers and content creators with a powerful tool to bring their vision to life. The Z9's 8K video recorder, coupled with its impressive image stabilization, opens up new creative possibilities, setting a benchmark for excellence in the world of videography. This feature alone makes the Nikon Z9 a standout choice for those who demand uncompromising video quality.

Best camera I've ever owned. The auto focus is super. the build quality is excellent, like a tank. There are so many things this camera can do, so there is a bit of a learning curve. From videos to still's the image quality is excellent.

Outstanding camera. High ISO is better than anyone else's. I have 3 other Nikons, D500, D850 and D750 ... finally made the choice to move to Mirrorless .... I would recommend this camera to any high end shooter. As as far as the Manufacturer rated battery life? Don't worry ... you can shoot all day. I have shot 5000 pictures and still had 35% left. I rate Ease of Use as a 4* because it requires learning all of the tools to be able to fully use the camera.

The Z 9 is a nice upgrade to the Z 6/Z 7. AF speed is faster. FPS has increased quite a lot. I guess that I got lucky to have receive the Z 9.

Incredible Camera. I started on Nikon 25 years ago but then I switched to Sony but now I am testing this out and I may switch back to Nikon. Love Nikon Colors. I use an A1 now and I do like the size of the A1 but I do see Nikon giving us something like this in a smaller body in the future.

The best keeps getting better. The focus and tracking is a must for fast action sports. The almost silent shutter is a plus in shooting quite sports moments. Finally, the ability to capture a sharp 8X10 from almost anywhere in the photo makes this a perfect sports camera.

First mirrorless camera I've purchased. Currently using the F to Z adapter for my old glass. This camera is a monster. Almost every photo is sharp and in focus for concert photography. There is more noise due to the high resolution photos but NR takes care of that.
