Love the jpgs that come off this camera and the sensor is great. The colors are vibrant and sharp, but the best thing? The sound of that shutter! Great job, Nikon.

My New Favorite Camera: Style Meets Substance

I previously owned a Nikon d3100 and a Nikon d5500. I enjoyed both of those cameras and this Nikon Z fc brings me up to speed to the new era mirrorless, hybrid cameras. Even with the 28mm SE lens I found the photos very sharp. This is an upgrade to the high standards I’ve been accustomed to. I have so much fun using the manual dials of this camera. It’s not for everyone but if you’re an enthusiast, someone who loves vintage and likes sharp photos and crispy videos, this camera is for you!

Doesn't work with older speed lights.

Do not buy until Nikon fixes this issue. The worst part is, the SB-5000 costs half of what this camera costs. Read the forums online to corroborate this information.
