The salesman took me away from the cheaper camera i came in for and recommended this one and i am so happy he did. I didn’t know much about them and he explained all the differences my wife loves it!

Pleasantly surprised

Though it’s smallestness is best achieved with 16-50 kit lens, the camera really shines with better glass. I purchased the FTZ adaptor and dusted off my dx 17-55 f2.8. Wow! The camera really produces!

My new toy!

Great camera for travel!

The N50 has many of the same features in a smaller camera body. It’s great for travel, and with the adapter (purchased separately), I can use my DSLR Nikon lenses.

A solid starter camera

Its image quality is identical to the z30, but the z50 has a viewfinder. Not having a viewfinder can be quite awkward for photographers used to DSLRs. This version does not have USB-C which is a drawback. The articulating screen is less versatile than the z30. On sale, this is a good deal. At full retail as of 5/25, it is likely there are better used cameras available for about the same price, which also have USBC for charging and data transfer.
