This camera is a lot smaller and lighter than my SLR’s. Very quiet operation. Still learning to operate the many features of this camera. Would have liked if Nikon had designed it with 2 card holders

After playing with the GH5 and Sony A7s ii I’m so glad I went with the Zed 6. Both photo and video are consistent and crisp. The color science is refreshing and the body design and size are amazing and so user friendly.

Coming from a D810. This is a breath of fresh air. Amazing features. Capturing fast moving objects can be tricky but I think that's user error. All around great into to mirrorless from Nikon.

I haven't had a chance to use and learn it much, yet! It is so light and love the silence. It takes some getting use to on how light and quiet it is. When u have had only DSLR's with the mirror popping all the time. I have taken some pics of the birds in the my backyard and love the features, the XQD card (very fast buffering), but I am use to it with my D500. U can take 200 shots in seconds! I was going to replace my D750 ( I dropped it, it still works but with some issues) with another D750 or the D850 ( a little pricey for me). This will be my go to camera! If u r thinking about getting, Just Do It!!

In the few days that I have shot with this camera, the reviews I have ready are spot on. I went from a D700 with a grip to this body primarily for the upgrade with video and megapixels. The electric viewfinder is excellent, hi speed burst is good for what I need, the video, with all it's options, are great, although if your not used to shooting video make sure you have a tripod or at the very least a monopod. I am planing to upgrade to a mic and at some point an external recorder, which you will need in order to shoot in nlog. Well worth the money!

The light gathering is beyond phenomenal. I take night time photos with day light quality. It is fast and quiet. Still waiting on the Nikon 70-200 lens to come out but the other two lens' I use are excellent. If I had to propose a negative, the battery meter could be more sensitive. the meter goes from reading 100% battery to less than 25% very quickly and it doesn't draw attention to itself when reading low battery. The batteries do charge very quickly and I have a 2nd battery so I don't run out of juice. I love the camera though.

Great Camera, but wish it had better USB support. Nikon does not support a mass storage mode with usb for transferring, so you must use their file transfer utility when using usb, so you cannot upload anything to the card unless you use a card reader, so to update the firmware of the camera you must have a card reader, since they don't make a utility to do that over USB. I really don't like that, but not a deal breaker. For the short period I have had it, so far it has worked just as I've expected it to. This is no reflection on camera, but I would like to note how disappointed I was in the shipping when I ordered this. Not only did UPS tracking tell me it was on the truck out for delivery days ahead of it actually being delivered, they just left my purchase worth several thousand dollars on the doorstep without even getting a signature. Luckily nobody came and stole it.

Needed a full frame..looked at the D780 and this camera, read the reviews, looked at the photos on line and decided since I already had the batteries that came with my D500 and the Frames per second, nice firm grip on this camera I would take a chance. I picked up the FTZ at the same time for $50 vice $250 and am very satisfied with using my Nikon 300MM F4 PF ED and my AP-s 24-120 lens on it. The FTZ doesn't add any noticeable bulk. The photos are tack sharp. Very satisfied.

I bought this to replace my Nikon D5200. I decided to move up to mirrorless. I have had it for a month and can't say enough about. The video is unbelievable. The still photos even better. I read up on the camera to learn all of the settings. Nikon has more expensive cameras but this one is a great fit at this pricef.

Love the camera. Photo, video, and a good price. The fact this model uses XQD or CFexpress and not SD cards was an issue since it does not come with a memory card.

I first purchased the Nikon Z7 and loved it. Decided to get a backup camera as I am a professional photographer with serious needs. The z6 is the perfect complement to my original purchase. I’m a lifelong Nikon snob and while I constantly compare available new technology, I am very satisfied with the performance of these great cameras.

Reviews I find are typically biased so I’m going to say that for my style of photography and videography, this is more camera than I even need! I’ve put it through it’s paces in rain, snow and all and it’s been reliable without fail. It’s design feels less robust than previous slr designs but don’t let that fool you. It can take a hit and keeps on ticking.

My daughter is absolutely thrilled with this camera. Was not happy that I had to order the special memory card and reader though. Am mildly annoyed that there is only 1 memory slot and that it requires a special card and won’t work with SD cards. Works well with the FTZ adapter but is not compatible with many non Nikon lenses.

At first I was a little worried about getting this camera but after getting it and shooting with it during the day and at night. It amazed me with the quality it has. It’s a wonderful camera to have, even for beginners. You won’t regret it if you get it

I love this camera, Nikon did an amazing job for their first Mirrorless and I think it’s only gonna get better. If you’re on the fence between this or a Sony like I was, you won’t regret it, I think it feels so much better in the hand and it just feels well built.
