Customers are impressed with the Z6 Mirrorless 4K Video Camera's phenomenal image quality, especially its 4K video and low-light performance. Many appreciate its ease of use, lightweight design, and improved ergonomics compared to DSLRs. However, some users express concerns about the single memory card slot and battery life, which they find to be less than ideal. The need for a specific, more expensive memory card type is also a point of contention for some.

Without much time to do photography work I have quickly found and enjoyed the intuitiveness of this camera. Nikon has done a beautiful job of creating a camera that helps you as well as getting out of your way. Also, the ergonomics and weight of the camera are remarkable. Different controls seem to be easily accessed and very easy to work with. I am very excited about using this camera.

Wonderful camera, wonderful kit lens, and the Z 1.8 primes are excellent. Combined with a an FTZ adapter, all those old MF Nikkors really come to life...

My spouse is starting a photography business and this has been a nice upgrade from his older Nikon DSLR cameras. He has been most pleased with its performance. It handles low light very well too.

Have had camera for about a month now impressed with the overall picture quality on the stills and videos. I have had other dlsr camera's from nikon so the button placements and menu system is easy to navigate and use. Still learning the capabilities of what this camera can do like time lapse and focus stacking among others, this is not a camera for beginners too many features that would not be used, but for a person with some knowledge of how camera's work it would be a great piece of equipment to buy I would highly recommend it to any advanced users

Great ergonomics, packed with all the features any enthusiast will ever want or need. Build quality is up to Nikon standards all around. Mirrorless technology is seriously good, and I look forward to increasing native lens options being offered.
The factory "User's Manual" is basic and limited; suggest an aftermarket instruction book to enable a faster introduction, and second battery will be needed by most users.
Very pleased I selected this over comparable Sony mirrorless models. The FTZ adapter fits very well, works well with my fully manual vintage Nikor lenses.

Great Digital SLR Camera

I bought this to replace my older "bigger" DSLR. This is a great mirrorless digital camera. If you like holding the camera up to your face, you will be surprised at how bright the digital viewfinder is and all of the information you can clearly see. If you are used to looking at a screen, the live view screen will be a natural fit for you; very clear and you can take the photo/ video by tapping the screen rather than finding the button on top. I recommend this camera for anyone from a beginner to a semi-pro photographer.

we did not expect that some of the features we got used to in our entry level DSLR would not be available. Taking nighttime pics with no flash and some difficulty with compatibility to existing speed lights make it a challenge, but the camera and lens quality are superb. Maybe not a beginner camera.
