STILL has odor residue

Although the machine operates properly, it still smells when we use it. Last evening I threw out french fries that had such a strong chemical smell we could not eat them. We have washed everything that can be washed, tried everything we can think of, but STILL the metallic and hot plastic odor is prominent enough to permeate the food being prepared. I wish I had returned it while it was within the return period.

It works but there are better models out there

I should be using it a whole lot more that I do, but I don’t, for the simple fact that I HATE cleaning it. It’s a pain. The rubber pads on the insert have all fallen off, the screws inside the device look rusty or discolored as if they can’t withstand the heat. I don’t know, I’ve used this maybe 10 times and I wouldn’t recommend this model. There’s better versions out there

Best Air Fryer for 2
