Customers are saying
Customers praise the Air Fryer Max XL for its ease of use, excellent cooking performance, and great size. Many appreciate its ability to produce crispy food and the larger capacity. While some noted a plastic smell initially and a higher-than-expected noise level, the majority of users found the air fryer to be a worthwhile purchase.

Way too small and it takes forever
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We didn’t use it right when we bought it, and when we started to then we realized it is way TOO SMALL. We had a cheaper brand and I felt like that one was better, the heat is not the same.

Great Air Fryer
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have owned the earlier model Ninja AF101 Air Fryer for a little over a year and have been very happy with it. We even recommended the Ninja AF101 to friends and family and several of them also purchased one. All have been pleased with the Ninja. The Ninja Air Fryer Max XL improves on the Ninja AF101. It is a little larger and you are able to cook more food, but it does not significantly take up any more counter space. It cooks food better and faster. It is able to cook food at 450 degrees versus a max of 400 degrees with the AF101. We use the air fryer multiple times per week and it is simple enough that our teenage kids can operate it. It is very convenient to use and easy to clean. Everything that we cook in it turns out great. Based on my experience with both models of Ninja air fryers, I highly recommend the Ninja Air Fryer Max XL.

Great for anyone with Food allergies
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this air fryer for several reasons and none of them were for French fries. I thought that since this cooks so quickly with little or no added oils it would save us time, energy and be a healthy alternative. Also for anyone who has food allergies or is a vegetarian it gives you a way to cook food totally separate of other items being cooked in the kitchen. Because the unit is self-contained and easy to clean it’s a great way to make sure the food is cooked without coming into contact with any contaminants. The Ninja XL is easy to set up and operate. There are 7 cooking modes and it has a wide temperature range so there are a lot of cooking options. Pick your cooking mode – most of time we use Air Fry, set the temperature and timer and hit the start. There is an instruction book and a small cook book that comes with the Air Fryer that has general recommendations on the settings. Once you get used to how quickly this thing cooks you can better estimate what time to set on the timer. The first time we cooked some chicken breasts my wife had to get a meat thermometer to double check the temperature because she couldn’t believe they were done so quickly. You have to be vigilant as you try cooking new things because this will cook the food faster than you expect. - The XL is wide so it cooks more but needs more counterspace - The cooking basket is large but its easy to manipulate due to its easy to grip handle - Lots of flexibility between the 7 cooking modes and temperature ranges - Its reasonably quiet for having a fan inside - Expect to spend more time checking the food than you would normally do at least until you get used to how quickly it cooks - Dishwasher safe but it cleans up so easily in the sink we never use the dishwasher - Provides a faster healthier way to cook your food. - Great solution for someone with food allergies who needs to cook their food away from allergens.

Air fryer works great as advertised
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have used this air fryer for seven different things with great results. My favorite has been for pork chops by adding seasoning and panko crumbs for a wonderful taste. Tons of great recipes out there for this Ninja.

I am an airfryer believer
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We also have the smaller Ninja airfryer. This one does everything that one does only better. My favorite things to make are chicken wings, french fries, pork chops, bacon and yes, a whole chicken. I was skeptical about making a whole chicken but I was pleasantly surprised when it came out with crispy outside skin and moist and juicy inside. They recommend pre-heating before each use and I think that does make a tremendous difference. One thing I have found is that the times listed in the guide seem to be a little long. If you cook to the full time listed in the guide things tend to get a little over done. I have not tried the dehydrate feature yet as I have a full size dehydrator that I use for that. It is also like a microwave in the smaller the portions the less time it takes to cook. Cleanup is easy and Ninja makes solid reliable products. It has become our go to kitchen appliance for almost daily use. The footprint is a little big and it does take up some counter space but for the amount we use it we leave it out. Trying out new things almost daily, it is surprising what you can make in this thing. There are literally hundreds pf You-tube videos out there with recipes. Highly recommended
