    Brewing issues

    I got this as a Christmas gift from my fiancé . The first 5 days of use... no issues then all of the sudden it started to malfunction. I always select the classic brew -XL travel mug setting (unless someone else is drinking too) for some reason it won’t even brew more than 1/4 of a cup if I’m lucky at one time before beeping 5x (which it’s supposed to do when brew is completed) then shutting off. I Will be exchanging for a new one to see if it’s hopefully just a “lemon” He happen to buy or the product in general. I have read the users manual to see what could cause this (which it reads it could need to be cleaned with de-scaling solution) cleaned it and it is still shutting off. I have to push the classic button about 8-10x just for it to brew the xl travel mug amount cause it continually shuts off. No other troubleshooting methods I have read seem to fix this. Very frustrating, I’m not sure I will be recommending this product to anyone. Thinking We should have went with a keurig instead. NOT WORTH THE MONEY!

    Great Coffee Maker... When it works

    This coffeemaker has all the great features I wanted, programmable, removable water tank, pause and serve... even a frother built in. The issue comes when you make a lot of coffee. My household makes 2-3 pots per day, so we have to clean the coffeemaker at least once a month. This is when the problems come up. The microfilter in the bottom of the water tank gets clogged easily, and is apparently not user serviceable. This tells the coffeemaker that the water tank is empty, and it stops brewing after 10 seconds. My once super-fast coffee is now an excersize in patience, as I have to hit the start button 6-10 times to brew a full pot, and have to stand around waiting for it. Upon reviewing online, I've found that this is a VERY common issue, and the recommendations to fix include high pressure water blasting and canned air to attempt to clear the filter. I will be exchanging this coffeemaker for the 3rd time today, and going back to something less problematic.

    I really wanted to love this. It has great features- different types of brews, cup sizes ranging from small single to an entire pot, and even has a frother. The problem is that it brews cloudy, sometimes bitter coffee! After Googling, it seems this is a common problem but there's no actual fix for it. I've swapped the reusable filter for paper and that doesn't even make much of a difference. The coffee usually tastes ok, but occasionally it will have a bitter flavor. But it always looks cloudy, and leaves a fine chalky texture in your mouth which is really a turn off. I'd suggest researching this product and alternative products before making a purchase.

    I very much enjoyed using this brewing system at first. The frother was fun and it brewed quality coffee (using the permanent filter was nice, but let some fine grounds through). However, after maybe 15 uses the machine began to malfunction. When I would press brew it would brew for approximately 30 seconds and then stop. The only way to get it to brew was to keep pressing start until I had a full cup. Unfortunately best buy has a ridiculously short return policy of 15 days so I have to contact the manufacturer and hope that they will/can fix my coffee maker or will refund my money. So, as of 3-24-18 I am disappointed with this product.

    We have used the Product every day for 50+ days and every week it tells us to run a clean cycle which the cycle is 2 cycles. Each cycle takes over an hour each. The Warming plate is not real warm, and does not keep a full pot of coffer warm/hot for the 2 hours. Will always need to microwave coffee to get a hot cup. I am investigating to switch the product out back to The Cuisinart brand, the brand that has served us fine for twenty years.

    Works great, then issues

    This is the second time I have tried this product. The first time it worked great but after a 9 months stopped making coffee. Finally had enough and returned for a new model. Guess what? After 10 months, same issues (not making coffee, no matter how many times I cleaned it). I’m done with this product. Looks flashy, but doesn’t last long.

    Broke after 6 cycles

    We were so hopeful for this machine but only after 2 weeks, and 6 cycles, it failed to brew, pull water and heat. Tried everything research could suggest without voiding the warranty. Returned it to the store without issue, Thanks Best Buy for an easy return +1 star for the in-store return for an online purchase.

    I guess it's my fault for not looking more into this, but this does not actually steam milk which is a bummer. Coffee taste gross and it brews slowly

    I am not very impressed with the Ninja. To me it is a coffee maker with a frother attachment. If you want to make specialty drinks and have a good coffee maker now, I would purchase a stand alone frother.

    This was my third one that I returned because it did not work correctly or was packaged wrong! Great advertising. I ended up with a Cusinart which does work and came packaged correctly!

    The opening on the pot is too small to clean, not convenient at all. It only makes 10 cups instead of 12. If they improved this the coffee bar would be fine. Definitely not worth the price.

    The unit is not user friendly, too many steps to make a cup of coffee. I wasn't very impressed with the taste either. Returned the unit after a 30 day trial.
