We purchased this to replace our previous Ninja convection oven / air fryer. This works well! Although it has two levels, both are much smaller than expected.

Both ovens work great once they pre heat witch takes about 5 minutes. They could be bigger. The top one is only good for toast or bagels. The air fryer is the best part especially the extra crisper
WORKS GREAT WORMS UP EVENLY. HAVENT TRIED THE AIR FRYER YET

This has easily become the most-used appliance in our kitchen ecosystem. It replaces multiple single-use devices, serving as a toaster, standalone air fryer, and small oven all in one unit. It drastically reduces the heat added to the overall environment compared to turning on a traditional oven (and takes less time). By offering two independent cooking chambers, it completely changes how you can prep a meal without needing to be rich to afford a triple-oven kitchen setup (assuming you already own a big oven). If not is great for those who don’t have a traditional oven as well. Such as a basement kitchenette. The Pros: - The two chambers feature excellent thermal isolation. You can cook a dish in one and bake in the other with absolutely zero crossover of taste/odor. - Unlike the previous combo-door model, you can now open just the bottom drawer to check your food. This ensures proper thermal retention for the top chamber and is much less cumbersome to operate overall. - It preheats significantly faster than a standard oven (usually a minute or two). Toast comes out right on the money based on your preferred settings, and the air fryer leaves food perfectly crisp on the outside while staying warm and tender inside. - The stainless steel design looks fantastic and feels highly durable. The footprint is completely manageable (it fits nicely under standard cabinets and weighs a reasonable 15 to 17 lbs). The legs are sturdy with zero wobble, and the doors fit tight. - It's incredibly easy to insert and remove hot racks. They slide in and out effortlessly while staying tight enough that they don't droop or spill your food when pulled out. - You can quickly pull out a rack to check the temperature or just flip on the internal light to observe the Maillard reaction without having to guess. The Cons: - Just like their previous version, the internal design makes deep cleaning a massive chore. Crumbs build up in tight, enclosed spaces where it is very hard to fit your hands, requiring manual scrubbing instead of a simple wipe-down. But let's be honest when's the last time you cleaned your toaster oven? But when you inevitably have to, it will be frustrating. - To get the best air fry results, you absolutely have to use the included basket with nothing underneath it to ensure proper convection dynamics (the unhindered circulation of hot air). If you are lazy and try to use wax paper for an easier cleanup, or use a solid baking sheet, it degrades the performance. Though not enough for me to not do it. - While the buttons have a crisp tactile feel and the handles are nice stainless steel, the plastic knobs feel a little cheap compared to the rest of the premium build. But honestly, that’s just me splitting hairs. - The control panel isn't perfectly intuitive right out of the box. It takes a few tries to figure out exactly which button to press and how many times before turning the dial. Once you do it a couple of times, it all clicks into place. The Final Verdict: Overall, pretty much anyone is an ideal customer for this and would benefit from how everything functions as a single cohesive system. A very large family might struggle slightly if they try to cook everything in it due to the size, but it perfectly complements a larger traditional oven for side dishes. It’s absolutely fantastic for meal preppers or anyone who wants an efficient, all-in-one cooking station without relying entirely on a microwave or stovetop.

Ninja makes great small appliances and this is no exception to that. I got the stainless steel version and the overall build quality seems to be pretty good. Its labeled as XL so its on the larger side but still fits on my counter nicely without looking too big for the space. With that said you can fit a lot of food into this thing if you use both ovens at the same time. The top one is pretty narrow though. I really like that the fan is on the side of the unit instead of the back like some other models. Keeps my walls from getting gross over time. The controls are pretty easy to use once you get used to them, and both of the displays are very readable. There is a internal light you can turn on in both compartments but I noticed the light pulsates when I have the air fryer on. My family has really taken to the dual-oven setup that can be run at the same time. The bottom oven is bigger than the top so I find it better for baking. The two ovens share some functionality but only the bottom has air fry. We use the top for toasting bread/bagels/waffles and the bottom for baking and air frying. The air fryer on this thing is fantastic, and noticeably quieter than my older model. It also has an Max Crisp setting, which from what I can tell just maxes the temperature out at 450 degrees so all you do is set the time and go. The results speak for themselves: food comes out incredibly crispy, and honestly, it exceeded my expectations. It comes with 6 accessories: Air Fry Basket 1 Sheet Pans 2 Wire Racks 2 Crumb Tray 1 I recommend reviewing the manual. It covers all the different settings, where to put the accessories for each mode, and most importantly how long to cook food for each mode. If you follow the directions in the manual everything comes out perfectly. As for cleaning I highly recommend putting the sheet pan under the airy fry basket and tin foil over the crumb tray to help keep it clean. So far that has helped quite a bit with the messes. Ive been happy with how everything has been coming out. So far I have found it to be very precise. From toasting toast to air frying chicken, it gets used daily in my house. My microwave and oven get used a lot less now. It really does it all!

Ninja has been the clear winner in household and kitchen appliances for what feels like years now. And year after year, they continue to push the limits of their products and give their consumers features we all can only dream of. This new double oven Pro Smart XL has been a huge upgrade for our kitchen and has made meal prep so much easier. This double oven was packaged well and came out of the box in perfect condition. The size of it took a bit of adjustment as we do have to give up quite a bit of counter space for it, but now that we are regularly using it we realize it is well worth the trade off. The build quality and feel of the double oven exceeded my expectations, I love the smoothness of the doors hinges. And the stainless steel and glass give such a modern and sophisticated look, which is a big win since this appliance is large enough that it will be on the counter and in view at all times. As I said, this Ninja double oven is a great tool for meal prepping. I have been having to choose between air frying my vegetables or potatoes, or my chicken each week because I can only do one at a time, which means they are never done at the same time. Now, with the double oven, I can now cook both portions of the meal prep at the same time, and using the Smart Finish dual zone technology, I can use the preferred settings for each food, and they will be done at the same time. This sounds so simple but it truly is a life saver, and on busy nights when we need to get a quick dinner made for everyone it is really helping us out. I have been impressed with the even heat and cooking in each oven, and I have enjoyed using the air fryer basket option, the crispiness it gives compared to a normal air fryer is impressive. Now that our family has gotten used to this double oven smart air fryer, there is no way we are going back to our old one, the 12 in one functions is just too enjoyable to use and it has made me enjoy cooking more!

I recently found myself in a bit of a predicament at work when the used convection oven I brought in failed our organization’s safety inspection. It was old enough that it didn’t have the third, round grounding prong on the plug, and part of the heating element extended low enough that it was burning any crumbs it touched. During the inspection, the fire marshal took one look at it and decided it was time for the oven to go. I needed to replace it quickly, and I immediately started looking at products from Ninja because I’ve always had great experiences with their products. I own quite a few Ninja appliances already, so using the controls and reading the display feels very natural to me at this point. Their products tend to be intuitive, reliable, and packed with useful features. What really caught my attention about the Ninja Double Oven Pro Smart XL Countertop Oven & Air Fryer was how multifunctional it is. It can handle pretty much everything we’d want at work—toasting bagels or bread, broiling, baking, reheating, and air frying. There’s even a pizza setting for frozen pizzas. It’s perfect for breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and snacks throughout the day. Our old convection oven didn’t have an air fry feature, and that alone makes a huge difference when reheating fried foods. Another big selling point for me was the stacked design. Having “two independent ovens” in the footprint of one appliance is ideal when counter space is limited. We already have the perfect corner picked out for it in the break room, and it should fit beautifully. Since it handles so many different cooking functions, it also eliminates the need for multiple appliances cluttering up the space. Even better, two people can cook at the same time without waiting on each other. I also like that the separate ovens help keep flavors and smells from mixing between foods cooking above and below. One feature I hadn’t seen before is the Smart Finish option. When it’s turned on, both ovens sync so the food finishes cooking at the same time. I absolutely love that idea—especially during a lunch break when you want everything ready together instead of one item getting cold while the other finishes. The quartz heating elements also cook food surprisingly fast. The oven comes with two wire racks, two bake pans, a crumb tray, and an air fry basket. Everything is easy to clean, and the instruction booklet does a great job explaining what to use, when to use it, and where everything belongs. That will definitely help everyone in the break room use the oven properly and hopefully keep it clean. One thing I’ve always appreciated about Ninja products is the owner’s guide. The booklets are clear, easy to follow, and filled with helpful photos, cooking charts, recipes, and cautionary tips that actually stand out instead of getting buried in fine print. Even the Safety Instructions guide is worth reading before using the appliance. I’ve actually been testing the oven at home first so I can get familiar with how everything works before bringing it into the office. My coworkers are eager for me to move it into the break room, but honestly, I’m going to miss having it at home. The air fry basket is noticeably larger than the one on my current unit, and the Smart Finish feature worked perfectly when I reheated leftover chicken bomb sandwiches and sweet potato fries so they finished at the exact same time. That alone sold me on it.

The Ninja - Double Oven Pro Smart XL Countertop Oven & Air Fryer is a roomy timesaver. The Smart Finish works great at getting food from both top and bottom finished at the same time. No more watching the clock, or letting one food get cold while another gets cooked. I've many times had to change the menu because the timing and temp were too far off of each other or something needed baking while the other needed air frying. With this, I can do both and have them finish at the same time even when they cook at different temps and times. The compartments are roomy for a countertop appliance. It is recommended to run the ovens with all racks and pans inside for 25 minute at 450°F before the first use to remove residue. It got smelly for a bit - you've been warned. There are so many functions to use. I've used the baking, toasting, air fry options with the Smart Finish to sync the timing, and it's done an excellent job on everything so far. From chicken strips, fries, flatbread, garlic toast, biscuits, corn on the cob, brussel sprouts, taco shells, and more. As with any new appliance, it takes some time to get to know it. The toasting definitely needs to be watched closely at first until the timing/setting is to preference. Also, per directions, it is necessary to add at least a couple of minutes to the time on each oven when using them both simultaneously. The air fryer basket is large and can hold a lot of food. Preheating is so quick, and even using both ovens doesn't heat up the house like a typical range does. I like that there are no heating elements on the bottom of the air fryer oven making it much easier to clean up. I can put a bake pan on the rack under the fry basket to catch drippings, but I didn't think I needed it the other night and ended up with some drippings on the oven floor. Fortunately with no heating elements in the way it was a quick easy clean with no finger pinching. The wire racks and air fry basket can go in the dishwasher, but hand washing is recommended. The drip tray and the bake pans are handwash only. Cleanup has been so quick and easy that I've just been handwashing them all so far. The appliance is large, but considering all it does and the amount of food it can cook at once it actually takes up less space than I would have expected. This is a great oven, very convenient, made very well and I highly recommend it.

I just took my old air fryer and toaster to Goodwill now that I have this Ninja combo oven. Combining an oven and air fryer into one appliance makes it extremely convenient. The only issue was finding adequate counter space because it's much bigger than the other two together. That's not a bad thing because this can do so much more. We have a baker's rack that makes a perfect fit. While some air fryers have a deep basket the Ninja is a bit shallower but makes up for it in surface area, which actually works better if you are trying to crank out a bunch of French fries or maybe some breaded fish fillets, chicken wings or tenders that could use a bit of separation for a more even cook. The air fryer is much, much quieter than the one we had that this replaced. With our previous one we couldn't hear anything but the fryer. There is also a quiet cool down cycle since it can be a bit warm to the touch after cooking. Friday I took some frozen breaded fish fillets and cooked them in the top oven and put our favorite frozen French fries in the bottom, each requiring their own specific temperature and cook time but using the sync functions both were done at the same time so everything was served hot. The two ovens are completely separate so if you are cooking something aromatic in one it doesn't bleed over to the other. We are still trying to get used to the cook times and temps but the included recipe guide helps set expectations and gives us cook ideas. In addition to the recipe guide it comes with 2 wire racks, a crumb tray, two sheet pans, the air fryer basket. Clean up was really easy while using the sheet pans to catch any dripping (I put some aluminum foil in to make clean up even easier) and the crumb tray for toast and bagels. So far we are pretty impressed with this dual function oven. I think tonight we will be preparing our favorite pizza. Winner!!

TLDR: Great double counter-top electric oven that also air fries and warms food items. Simple controls with cool hidden displays for both ovens. When I saw the Ninja Double Oven Pro had two ovens I had to see for myself. This oven is very modern, smart, and looks great!!. It does not use up as much counter space as other ones in the market. Though the box it arrives in is so big, it is the styrofoam to protect it in transportation. SPECS: It comes with 2 sheet pans, 2 wire racks, 1 Air Fry Basket, 1 Crumb Tray, Quick Start Guide, and 15-Recipe Guide. ADDED BONUS: the outside stays slightly cooler than my other ovens have. It has auto preheat and a cool down at the end of the cycle. When using both top and bottom ovens, it doesn’t get as hot on the outside. That’s great if little ones are helping you out. TOP OVEN built in functions of Broil, Toast, Bagel, Bake, Reheat and Keep Warm. BOTTOM OVEN built-in functions of Whole Roast, Air Roast, Air Fry, Convection Bake, Pizza, and Max Crisp. GREAT SMART features: You can combine different functions and utilize Ninja’s Smart Finish Technology to synchronize the ovens, ensuring your meal finishes simultaneously. TRIED and TRUE RECIPES: I tried several recipes and was very happy with the results every time. For example, I made homemade pizza and who does not like pizza. I used the bottom sheet pan in the Convection Oven and broiled vegetables in the top Quartz Heat oven. Toast came out perfect in the Quartz Heat oven and it has a great extra feature of a shade control to get them toasted to your liking. I cooked salmon in the top oven synced with homemade fries in the bottom oven on air fry. Convection baking of brownies were delightful. I also reheated pasta with pesto sauce and it came out delicious. EASE of USE: The Quick Start Guide and 15-Recipe Guide were very useful and easy to use. The Recipe Guide gave you recipes and hints on using the double oven. Cleaning is very easy as well. I have one small but somewhat necessary item that could improve clean up. I would love to have a bottom oven crumb tray which would make cleaning up much easier and faster. If you are looking for a small counter footprint appliance, easy to use and clean up, then I recommend the Ninja Double Oven Pro Smart XL Countertop Oven & Air Fryer.

I have replaced my ninja basket air fryer with this model as the basket was sometime a bit short on the space and very loud. My initial worry was that with 1800 watts for two ovens, it may not be as strong as the single ovens or my existing Ninja basket (1550 watts) but I tested, and it almost drew 1670 watts from the plug when using the bottom oven with Air Fryer option. This to me indicates that it intelligently uses the power and tries to use it to the full extent when a single oven is used. This has more power than the traditional basket ovens and if you are comparing it with a countertop single over, it will be quicker on account for a smaller size, and it is much quieter than my Ninja basket. It is, I feel a bit (5%-10%) slower in cooking, perhaps because the overall space is more but it is far more versatile. I tested it with cooking frozen pizza, reheating store bought pizza, tater tots, Hashbrowns, bread toasts. Pizza was cooked well and mostly even; I saw a very small portion cooked slightly more than other (smaller than a bite) but that could be a one off. Reheat in the top over works great heating up the store bought pizza. Made is crisp without burning the cheese. Tots and hashbrowns both came out evenly cooked and crisp using Air Fryer setting. I think this thing will replace my toaster as it is just more convenient, being always their vs the toaster in the cabinet and can do 1-4 slices and does them as well as the toaster for same or perhaps lesser time duration. I can actually see it making my range oven mostly go unused unless as it uses far less energy and does an equally well job for the usual tasks I have. My range oven will be used for only something really big, which is a bit sad as I have those signature range with fancy double ovens. I can also give away my bread toaster. It came with a small booklet guiding which option, temperature and plate to use in different settings, and I found it helpful.

So I'm coming from another smaller, and taller Ninja air fryer and this is a HUGE upgrade for me with the size. This oven is not too tall when compared, BUT it is really wide. I love that which is why I wanted to get it. I have already cooked a full bird, large batch of fries, etc. You can fit 10 to 15 large hotdogs on one tray, which is crazy compared to my other one. Cooking: Well, this is where I needed to learn a little bit from using my other Ninja. I will save you the trouble, be sure to set your temperature. LOL, I forgot on a number of times, and it took longer to cook. But then I discovered I did not have the temp set. After all of that, you will LOVE how your food comes out. Build quality: This is built very well, and does not kick off a lot of heat while in use. It comes with several trays, and cooking racks. You won't need to buy anything else. Overall: this is by far the BEST cooker I have, because it's more than just an air fryer...it's a counter top OVEN too. If you need an all in one, get this one ASAP.

Let me start by saying we love shark ninja products. We own several including and oven, 2 drawer air fryer, indoor grill, pressure cooker, oven and other things such as air cleaners and a vacuum. I never had a product fail and the quality is always at a high standard and I am an old school loyalist. I live in an apartment and this is replacing the air fryer and oven as counter space is limited. It works as expected. The air fryer cooked the chicken wings well and we tried the oven pizza setting which also worked well. The simple layout of the selection dial and separate temperature and time buttons make it super easy to use and adjust while cooking. It has a nice modern look and the grates and pans are well made. Like many of their products they don't require a lot of hype because they always do what they say without all the additional marketing fluff. It just works and very well. This would be great for anyone but especially if you have limited space as it has plenty of room also to use as a full oven alternative.

I’ve been using the Ninja Double Oven Pro Smart XL Countertop Oven Air Fryer DCT for a few weeks now, and honestly, this thing has completely changed how I cook during busy weekdays. I originally bought it thinking I’d mainly use the air fryer feature, but it’s turned into my go-to appliance for almost everything — toast in the morning, quick lunches, reheating leftovers, baking, and even full dinners. The biggest reason I picked this model was the dual oven setup, and it’s honestly the feature that makes it stand out from every other countertop oven I looked at. Being able to cook two different foods at separate temperatures at the same time is a game changer. I’ve done salmon in the bottom air fryer while roasting vegetables up top, and both finished perfectly together using the Smart Finish feature. That alone saves so much time compared to using a regular oven. According to the product specs, the two independent ovens can sync cooking times while using different settings and temperatures. The air frying performance is excellent too. Fries, wings, frozen snacks, and even leftover pizza come out crispy without drying out. The bottom oven gets surprisingly hot and cooks much faster than my full-size oven. I was skeptical about whether an oven-style air fryer could crisp food properly, but this one does a really good job overall. Some Reddit users mentioned basket-style air fryers can still get slightly crispier results, but for the convenience and larger capacity, I think this is a much better family appliance. Another thing I appreciate is how fast it preheats. The QuartzHeat system heats up quickly and evenly, so I’m not waiting forever just to make something simple. It’s also big enough to cook real meals without feeling oversized. I’ve fit an entire chicken in there and cooked sheet pan meals without issues. The specs mention it can fit up to 6 lbs of wings, a 4.5-pound chicken, or six slices of bread. Build quality feels solid and premium. The stainless steel looks modern on the counter, the doors feel sturdy, and the controls are simple enough that I didn’t even need to read the manual after the first day. I also like that the interior has lights so you can actually see what’s cooking without opening the doors constantly. Now for the negatives — because no appliance is perfect. First, this thing takes up a decent amount of counter space. If you have a smaller kitchen, definitely measure before buying. Also, like most air fryers and countertop ovens, cleaning can become a little annoying if grease builds up over time. I’ve already learned it’s better to wipe it down regularly instead of waiting too long. Some users online mentioned baked-on grease can become difficult to remove if neglected. Overall though, I genuinely think this is one of the best kitchen appliances I’ve purchased in a long time. It basically replaced my toaster, air fryer, and most of my oven usage. If you cook for a family, meal prep often, or just want something that saves time without sacrificing cooking quality, this is absolutely worth considering.

In the box is the oven, two wire racks, one removable crumb tray, two black sheet pans, one air fryer basket and a chef inspired recipe book. Disclaimer - This is my first double oven type of product. First Impression - The oven is a decent weight, height and width. I am previous owner of a stand-alone small oven, so I was able to replace this oven with the Ninja in the same space. First off, I love that I am able to get move my older oven to another area in the house (probably my work at home office) and I can also move some of my other Ninja items to my office as well because this oven doesn’t necessarily replace my other items, its just I can do more with one appliance instead of multiple. It is definitely a space saver. I basically use this product at least once everyday. Since I am able to do more with one product instead of multiples, it has made my cook time a lot easier, especially when I work at home. I can multitask even more and put my dinner on and do some chores after work since there is a timer and the oven shuts off. I would also like to add that the recipe book that comes with the oven is very helpful in guiding you through times, tips and tricks for best results and easy cleaning. One of the ones I was glad to see was the tip to layer your trays to help with crumbs since there is only one crumb tray and also how to reduce smoke. (There is also a QR code in the booklet for more.) There are meal ideas for cooking meals with the top and bottom oven. I did check my other Ninja recipe books from other products and some of recipes are similar for their ingredients but with different cook and preparation styles. Overall, I really love this oven and I will definitely recommend this product to friends and family and I would purchase again.

Review for Ninja - Double Oven Pro Smart XL Countertop Oven & Air Fryer Having recently retired, I find I’m doing more cooking, but mainly just for me and my wife. I thought the Ninja Double Oven Pro Smart XL Countertop Oven & Air Fryer would be a good compromise when I want to cook a full meal but only for two people. I was right. The oven doesn’t take a lot of counter space because of its stacked design. And it’s certainly less than a standard oven. I have an air fryer, but feel like I only pull it out for specific kinds of cooking. This oven stays in place and serves so many additional needs. I used it to make morning toast and bagels, grilled cheese at lunch, and then baked a whole, small chicken and air-fried potatoes for dinner. The versatility is just what I was looking for; I really don’t like single-use appliances. The controls are easy to use and I really like the SmartFinish feature that cooks two different dishes so that they are ready at the same time. I thought it would take some getting used to, but having owned other Ninja appliances, it seemed both simple and familiar. This replaced an old toaster oven on my counter, and although it seems silly, one of my favorite features is that both ovens have a light in the back of them, so you can check on your food’s progress. It’s such a low-tech feature and you’d be annoyed if your full-sized oven bulb blew out, yet you’d think nothing of peering into a dark toaster oven and wondering if your breakfast is ready!

The original Ninja Foodi Air Fry oven was a nice departure from the oval basket plastic air fryer craze that flooded the air fryer markets in the early days. There were other brands that chose more traditional toaster oven designs for an air fryer, but I really liked the form and functionality of the Ninja over the competing, larger format air fryers. The Ninja covered the basic list for a multifunction countertop air fryer: air fry, air roast, air broil, bake, dehydrate, toast, bagel, reheat/keep warm. It combined standard toaster oven capabilities with new convection “air frying” options. The result for the Ninja (and their competitors) was a single device that could do a LOT of different oven-y kinds of things. But although this nifty oven could do a lot of different things very well, it could only do one of those things at a time. Ninja’s Double Oven Pro has taken a noble step to solve the one-thing-at-a-time problem. It has created a kind of double-decker bus of two separate ovens. This new offering is basically taking the toaster oven and convection oven (air fryer) capabilities and separating their functions into a top toaster oven living over a lower convection oven. And while you don’t have two stacked ovens with total air fryer capability, you have the luxury of doing two oven-y things at the same time instead of just one. I don’t know if other brands have created something like this, but I loved my original Foodi oven and I really love this new double oven from Ninja! A few basics. Operation of this new model oven is as intuitive as is the operation of every Ninja product I have ever owned – it literally operates exactly the way you think it should operate. The guide and recipe book explain the various oven operations clearly and concisely and the recipes are well designed to help you understand how twin oven usage can be your best weekday friend. Finally, I would like to address a size concern that you might have. The original Ninja Foodi and the separate stacked double ovens they have made here have shorter vertical space than larger multi-function ovens. But I have found that the confined space allows the Ninja to give exceptionally even space over the whole cook surface. I think that once you rid your mind of the idea that you will be roasting whole chickens in this (think of the mess!) and then think about the infinitely many other options that don’t splatter at your disposal, then the vertical space will become your friend. Some things just need a big oven – let the smaller oven take care of other needs. Cooking your food evenly is incredibly important. The first time I ever used my Ninja to toast a slice of bread, I took out something that looked like it had been air brushed. There are SO many options for a multipurpose oven these days. Choose Ninja and definitely go for this double oven!

I've had assorted countertop ovens and air fryers over the years, where the use of one is preferable to the other, so I'd have one of each. This combination of both is a good compromise in order to free up valuable countertop space. I like that the controls are not exclusively touchscreen, because on the ovens and air fryers I've had before that were, the touchscreens were finicky sometimes and did not register inputs all the time. This would be especially frustrating, especially in a kitchen/cooking situation where one's hands are not always perfectly dry and immaculate. This Ninja combo oven/air fryer has nice push button and knob controls, with digital displays, which make for a really clean and classy aesthetic. The stainless steel exterior contributes to this look, and is easy to wipe off cleanly. The actual usage is very intuitive and easy, with the air fryer on the bottom and the oven on top and the associated controls on the right hand side. Very easy to choose temperatures, times to cook, and the various settings such as bagels, toasting, reheating, baking, broiling, air frying, pizza, convection baking, roasting, etc. Included with the oven are two wire racks, two baking pans, a crumb tray and an air fry basket, as well as a guide book which comes in very handy as a reference for all your oven and air frying needs. Having used both the oven and air fryer already to make such foods as pizzas, roasted chicken, cook-from-frozen staples such as chicken nuggets, fish sticks and popcorn shrimp, and to reheat leftovers, I'd say this Ninja Double Oven is definitely a winner. The air fryer has worked better than others I've had in the past (from different companies); same holds true for the countertop oven. Nice, even cooking/baking/reheating/air frying, quick preheating and fast overall--a lot faster than using the regular kitchen oven, for sure! The only small caveat I would state is that the size of the oven is smaller than a typical standalone countertop toaster oven size, at least in my estimation and experience. Same holds true for the air fryer, although I tended to buy the larger air fryers on the market. But that's the tradeoff for having the smaller footprint on the kitchen counter by combining the two.

The NInja - Double oven pro XL is a combination unit that has the ability to do a lot of different things when it comes to preparing food. This unit has two distinct ovens, each with their own set of talents. The top oven can best be described as an over achieving toaster oven. When you look at the options on the top half of the oven you will see things such as Toast, Bagel, Reheat, and Keep Warm while the bottom oven gives you options such as Air Fry, Bake, Whole Roast, Air Roast, Broil, Dehydrate, and Pizza. You can use each oven or "zone" separately or together. The oven even has a function that allows you to set each zone to a specific cook time and temperature and the oven can operate so that both ovens complete their cycle at the same time. There is a tremendous amount of room in the oven, particularly the bottom oven which is really the workhorse of the package in my opinion. The bottom half is where the baking and air frying takes place. The Ninja comes with two roasting pans, two wire racks, one air fry basket and one crumb tray to make clean up easier. Overall a very nice package that has an enormous amount of flexibility. If I have any nit picky complaints is that I think it should have come with two crumb trays instead of one since we have the ability to use both ovens at the same time and the bottom door does not open flush. The handle touches the counter before the door is opened fully, maybe by design, but I would prefer it open flat. This unit does require a little more space than some other units, so make sure you have the counter space to make this work and just like a regular oven, you will need to use oven mitts to take food out of the Ninja because it will be hot. This is a good product that can replace a number of different appliances and has the versatility to cook, reheat, dehydrate and toast about anything you would want.

This might be the last countertop oven/toaster/airfryer we need to ever get... Let's just talk first about the construction and the look, just awesome. This looks like an extremely high end appliance... not just a quick inexpensive cheap appliance. The stainless steel, the handles, the glass, everything... this is something you can leave on the counter all the time, and not worry about putting away when people come over. The two cook zones are easy to use, you can do two things at once... I would recommend having them "close" in temperature, with the warmer temp on top... but it did work. We have done the basics like larger bread and bagels, toasted great. I have done my guilty pleasure, the rectangle Totino's pizza... cooked through, quickly, and crispy crust... (this is honestly going to be one that I do often). Fry's in the air-fryer came out crisp and golden, and not oily. We have had 3 or maybe even 4 air fryers before, so very familiar with how to use and how long it takes for things, and this unit fits right in. I am not sure you are going to get a large poultry item in here often, I am sure a small Cornish hen will fit, but we didn't try... maybe in the future. But my teenage kids even did a small batch of cookies. Easy to clean too.. the trays in the bottom come out very easy, easy to wipe down. racks and basket included, made it easy to try different things. So not overly expensive for what you are getting, and you can then maybe get rid of that toaster. But this will work GREAT in small kitchens, or even a residence hall room at college if permitted. For us, it sits on our full home counter and is a welcome addition to the kitchen, instead of warming up the big oven for small quick needs.
